Celtic V Rangers ~ Post Match Chat.

Lol what we need is a goalkeeper who is not liability every game. A manager who gets basics tatics. Defending with no man at the front post. If Celtic dont lose a goal in the first five mintues thye will lose win just after scoring.

Celtic disgust me at them moment.

 

i cant remember who it was but someone suggested earlier in the pre match thread to play zaluska. another poster basically laughed at him. zaluska couldnt have done worse for the goal

 

i forgot about their goal, big Artur went down like a 70 year old arthritic hooker!

 

why was no one on the post.we had back post covered.if the front was covered too we would have won simple

 

I know it's all good and well saying it now but why didn't we have a man on the near post for their goal?,if we did it would have went straight to him.When will we learn how to defend corners?

 

Thats where the LB should have been. It it Sloppiness and lack leadership and concentration.

 

I know we're hurting and should've won, but * sake.

what the * did Boruc do wrong, he was never going to save that, but i agree where was the man on the post, especially when we were defending a lead, normally we always have 2 men on the posts, trust it to happen the one time we dont

EDIT: Why are people blaming Boruc how do you save a rocket header into the bottom corner from a corner?

 

I think it's time we gave Zaluska a run in the team. Boruc has cost us far too much.

 

i know mate if there is one man on that park today you would want on the end of a cross its mc culloch there was no saving it unless you have a man on the post

I would've like to have heard Mowbray come out and slate the ref tbh, the SFA need put in their * place, he needs a few lessons from Craig Levein. Yes we should have won today no matter how pish the ref was but something needs to be done, we can't just sit back and say "oooh I haven't seen the replay yet" when Hinkel's leg was almost broken and we had a perfectly good goal chopped off. We get this * over and over again and nobody comes out to say anything about it.

bit harsh blaming boruc imo; guy has nothing to do all game and then bam in the net; its becoming worringly frequent. was a good (though UNMARKED ) bullet header that i knew was coming once that * lafferty won a cheap corner. perhaps the only thing could be criticized for is not organizing his defence at the goal but we cant focus on the negative too much after what was possibly our best, most spirited display this season since we beat Dynamo Moscow imo!

 

just read that and i totally agree! fair enough mogga is probably just being philosophical about the fortune "goal" but he should be making a right racket about the * lafferty, though i supposse he doesnt want to seem like we need men sent off to win; if the ref had any balls he'd come out and say "i got it wrong it was a red" and get lafferty * banned but im not holding my breath

as ive said ive been heartened by the display today, we were excellent, they were unmitigated * and it was perhaps telling that even walter was pretty downbeat despite grabbing the most undeserved of points. i confess i was worried beforehand about rangers form, even the scottish media for once had me fooled (how embarrassing) but after today, with the huns injuries piling up and players maybe having to be sold whats the chance the huns wont have a * second half of the season?

this month is crucial for us, dont let them get further ahead and some key signings must be made

 

The ref will probably come out and say he got them both wrong like that other cheating * Craig Thompson did the last time but its after its happened, it doesn't mean anything. They only do it to keep their own integrity intact (although obviously not with us). At the end of the day these cheating * have now cost us 5 points in these two games and there is absolutely no accountability. In any other job these huge mistakes simply wouldn't be tolerated and it isn't right. I don't know how we can fix it but it has gone on long enough. Video evidence is obviously the main arguement but if the fourth official watching is also a cheating hun * then that's not going to be any good either. And there's no point in Mowbray writing to Hugh Dallas because he was the absolute worst in his day.

 

What the * did boruc do wrong it was other stuff that costs us i.e. referee and defending from set pieces

 

Artur Boruc the holy goalie has now become the Rolly Polly. He has overweight, slow and anyother top class keeper would have saved that.

 

Yesterday I saw a Celtic team play a lot better than I expected. Okay, the huns were down men from their squad, but they still had plenty of "quality" in there, enough of their big names to cause problems. But cause problems they did not.

That fat * Boyd did * ALL. I'd almost convinced myself before this game that he would finally score against us. The shambolic backline we've been subjected to all season did very little wrong, Rangers had only 3 of four shots on target to our 9 of 18. Of absolutely no surprise is the filthy huns' 21 fouls to our 5. We dominated possesion. I'm pretty * happy about the way Celtic handled that game.

Yeah, we could use another striker, but two of us put the ball in the net. Yeah we NEED better defenders, but what we have did fine in this game.

And that * thug Lafferty wants shot.

 

also any good keeper would have ordered a defender to be on that post
