    The Sun are reporting that Liverpool are to sign Ruud van Niistelrooy and Van der Vaart in the next few days.

    Some front pairing of Torres and Nistelrooy if it happens.

    Those would be 2 very good signings for them if this is true. Especially up front where they have so little depth.

    My mate is a huge Liverpool fan and he is thrilled about being linked with Van de Vaart but he doesnt seem to thing Ruud would fit in well.

    Aye good point..Liverpool have been pish poor this season, I think my mate is gonna have a stroke if they keep up their current form, and it doesnt help that theirs all these crazy rumours about Torres, Gerrard and Mascherano leaving (aka the entire L'Pool team).
