    celtic appoint a new club doctor

    CELTIC Football Club is delighted to announce the appointment of David Pugh as its Club Doctor. In this post, David will have overall responsibility for Celtic’s medical and physiotherapy services, working closely with manager Tony Mowbray and the football backroom team.

    David has been a senior partner in general practice for five years and has managed a portfolio of sport and exercise medicine positions, with considerable experience in diagnosis and management of sports injuries.

    He has previously worked with elite sport professionals in football, rugby and various other sports.

    Tony Mowbray said: “We are very pleased to have secured the appointment of David Pugh as our new Club Doctor.

    “David is a highly respected medical professional with a first-class attitude and I know that his ability and experience will make him a major asset to Celtic Football Club.”
