on a more serious note, id vote mr romanov, wat a key player he has been this season for celtic!! his defensive quallitys have broken down rangers and caused them troubles scoring that #2 Spot!! and his attackin quallities, well he cudnt have set up the league for celtic any better than he has done

I dont know, I would maybe say Lennon over Maloney. I dont know really. Tough one, wouldnt say any one player in the spl has stood out this season the way Henke used to.

 

Theres no way Lennon should be player of the year. How do people see him as such a great player? Hes celtic's weak link. Roy keane plays his position way better and is much more productive. Probably even when hes injured.

Lennon loses position, has no mind for advancing the ball, ruins momentum, and even loses out on tackles. I know exactly how Lennons game works, and i dont rate him at all.

Definatly gotta get rid of him before next season.

Player of the Year Shortlist:

Kris Boyd, Shaun Maloney, Craig Gordon

Current Order:
1st: Boyd
2nd: Gordon & Maloney

Those three have been outstanding this season. Hartely, Petrov, Burke are good players but the above produced it 9/10. Maloney will have to produce a few more Man of the Matches to take the award.

 

dempsey i hope thats who you think and not who you want to win cos wee maloney has more ability in his damaged knee than boyd has in his entire body, for me an all round player gets it over a good scorer every time,that would make it hartley or maloney for me,with shaun winning it thro magreen tints. hail hail

 

I said that is the current order. Boyd's goals are the reason why Killie and Rangers are where they are. I dont want him to win but he does have an impressive record, you cannot discredit his achievement just because his a hun.

Hartson won it for banging in goals, Boyd can too. Maloney should win it because of the way he has come back from a serious injury, much like what Larsson did. But, if I was in Lennon's position (i.e. cant pick a Celtic player) I'd would be picking Gordon.
