    is there a way to identify what they all mean?

    like> lsass.exe etc..i know what this one means.

    but there is probably a * load running that we dont need?

    I just normally google the exact filename and it brings up a bunch of sites that tell you what each one is doing.

    Just Can't Get Enough!
    I only found out i had a virus when i checked my processes.

    If you go to 'Processes' tab and then click 'CPU' it'll tell you the % of your CPU is being used by which process. If there are any processes that are using a high percentage of your CPU then i'd google it.

    Download and install the windows utility called ProcessExplorer

    This shows every process and will give you a trail to the parent program! Easy

    Check Comodo Brian ,thats tells exactly whats running away in the background.

    i used comodo to check what what...nero backup is running ..i dont use it that often and never for backup..so tried to end process...it keeps popping back up every time i dump it?
