the team needs to go out all attack and keep it away from the defence, i think o'dea should start if he's available and calldwell, fox on the left and hinkel on the right. cant afford any mistakes or giving the ball away.

I wouldnt even consider O"Dea for this game ,he has been away from Parkhead for what 5 months and he cant get a game with Reading but your willing to put him into this game ,to risky mate.

right so im guessing its gonna be this

    boruc
    hinkel caldwell loovens fox
    robson nguemo crosas mcgeady
    samaras mcdonald

    vs
    mcgregor
    broadfoot wilson weir papac
    davis mcculloch thomson lafferty novo
    miller

i think wee landry will have to play as the anchorman to cope with novo and davis on the wings , robson will ooutmuscle broadfoot , samaras will be 50/50 with weir and mcgeady will run rings around papac

hopefully we have a good day and can put away our chances without any * ups from the defence.

    COME ON THE BHOYS!!!:shamrock:

I don't see it being as straight forward as bringing new defenders in january, the manager has to install a better system/mentality in the defence so i doubt it matters who we play it's unlikely there will be any quick fix to the problems with our defence.

I think we should play a 4.4.2 but having the diamond shape with mcgeady(give him a free rain) at the top and robsin at the back to help attack and defence. We are the home team and we already no they are going to play with ten behind the ball then kick it long like always. hail hail

i thought about this also just when the defence started fukin up under mogga, i just felt teams were getting at us to easily and when you think about it ,asking fullbacks to overlap our wingers who should be doing the job themselves, then asking them to chase back if it all breaks down they must be fuked, no wonder crosses come in easier to our box, so if we are playing this way 3 cbs would help but would only use this against stronger opposition.

i think o dea will be available but he has been away from the team for to long and wont have any understanding of the players around him( will fit right in with the rest then) it dosen't matter who plays as long as they remember to defend first and leave the attacking to those ahead of them.

I noticed O'Dea was on the pitch on Saturday before the Hamilton game doing what looked like a sort of bleep test. He was with Caldwell, McCourt, Kllen, Naylor and one or two other players.

Caldwell and Loovens. Tell Caldwell to stay focused and tell Loovens to stop being so casual and we have a decent centre half pairing there. Not a game to start chopping and changing things, they are still the same old * just having found a bit of form which goes out the window for a huns match in any case.

We know Wattie will come and play 4-5-1 at Celtic Park, he won't want to lose so this is his preferred formation, remember his run in the UEFA CUP (anti-football, but affective).

What's key is that Hinkel, Caldwell, Loovens and Fox defend well and as a unit, everyone keeps to their postion and defend first and foremost. Our midfield have to track their runners, we don't want Davis and Broadfoot double-teaming Fox or Papac and Lafferty against only Hinkel.

Grosas, N'geumo and Robson must break up their attacks in midfield, solid tackiling and good distribution to our forwards is vital. Forwards take your chances, fight for every ball, you are our first line of defence.

Standard CB pairing - Heid and Loovens. I have some daft feeling McManus may play because he played last Saturday. But if he plays, we're *. There would be at least one penalty for Huns if he plays, as we know Miller's and Boyd's diving intentions.

I think full-backs will have problems on flanks because Papac and Whittaker often go forward, not to mention danger from their wingers. It will be long day for our defence, hopefully they are up to the task.
