lol this is crazy talk .. EVERYBODY knows that when 1 of our players are linked with someone, its because theres an old firm game ages away ... wake up, its just paper filler and speculation.

but id only take it if all off that is injected into the team including what was already going to be spent

I would be happy to see him going to Liverpool or another big team, but i'd want atleast £10million or even a couple more because we won't be able to replace him. If he had a good season with them he would be worth £20million, I think he's better than most wingers down there Nani and Valencia cost over £15million each I think.

 

And where exactly are Liverpool getting £8m from

the same Liverpool who spent their last £2m on Kyriakos

spot on liverpool supposedly can't fork out the money just now for aiden and when benitez has players like benayoun sitting on the bench it shows his eye for a creative spark is non-existent - best thing aiden can do is stay here.

 

i would say mcgeady is alot better than babel.

 

I don't think he is good enough for Liverpool if im honest! He looks good in the SPL but think he would be a very average player down south!

 

Rubbish ..he has taken on the best in europe over the last few years and performed quite well ..Anyway Liverpool are an average team these days :icon_mrgreen:

 

If we were offered £10 Million I would deal, Aiden's a superb player, but the SPL players are certainly getting wiser to all his moves. We need some fresh blood in order to spark new life into this team and the club in general, Mowbray could do a lot with £10 Million, but this should be £10 Million plus the original budget agreed with the board, not instead of Dermot Desmond having to spend his own cash.

Cant see it now , but if he can keep his form he is in now up until the end of the season hitting 10goals etc , the clubs will all be looking at him in the summer would sell him for around 10million mark not a penny under that ,

 

Maybe we could do a Robbie Keane type deal with 'Pool and sell him for 20mil then sign him back for 10mil in the summer

Yes true but that is generally a few games per year in the champions league, i don't think he could perform well every week down south against good teams! Imo he has never had a good game against Rangers, especially at Ibrox!

 

mcgeady is easily good enough for liverpool he is always our best layer when we play big clubs, look at how he played against ac milan , barca, arsenal, rangers in the cis cup final, he was amazing on sunday , the only one worth his salt. if we sell him we will never replace him for ten mill. i say keep him , he is coming to his peak , i think next season will be his best for us , let him show it in europ and we canfetch nearer twenty mill.

Aiden for Liverpool- I love the guy to bits- bt would it not be like Maloney to Villa- good in bits not consistyent enough -so ater a year he would be bac at Celtic.
