could be a toughie, cant imagine we'll hump them, probably a narrow victory by the odd goal; nonethe less, any win v aberdeen is a good one, they always give us a good game at parkhead

    2-1 celtic

    McGeady Zhi N'Guemo Robson

    Samaras McDonald

I would play the Holy Goalie as I feel a lot more at ease when he is in goals and I would play Naylor just to give Fox a wake up call as he has not been good enough in recent weeks.

Win and a clean sheet would be brilliant.

Want to see McGinn or Zheng come in on the opposite to whatever flank McGeady is on. I like Robbo a lot, but he isn't a right-winger.

    2-0

Nah I think TM is going to go with Zhi though, maybe even stick with Robson.

Would love to see Sammy get a couple. His confidence is delicate and I think he needs to get a few more goals notched up soon to keep his chin up and get on the sort of roll he showed at the start of last season. He is a better goal scorer than he is showing. He was a real goals machine in Holland and has threatened to be so with us too at times before hitting slumps. He also has pace to burn (he is officially the fastest player at the club) but he doesnt use it enough. I think its psychological, fear of someone seriously injuring him when he is at full tilt.

Cant believe folk are talkng about dropping Robson. He was great v Hapoel. He may not be a conventional right winger by any stretch of the imagination but neither was Naka. I thought Robson played the Naka role well - sort of Naka-esque but with a lot of agression too. I think its too easy to be impressed by wingers. End procuct is what matters and wingers ofen flatter to decieve. Personally I think its great we have so many wide options. Its one area I wouldnt dream of spending money on.

I think most people have been impressed with Robson, especially the alst 3 games or so when he's been playing on the right.

The problem is he is playing the Naka role but with key problems: Once he gets to the final third he is out of sorts and attacks can break down. And also when the ball is in the middle third and our third, he seems to naturally be inclined to play as a centre-midfielder. The opposition seem to have little problem going around his weaker outside foot.

So basically, it's not that we want him dropped, I think he's been doing fantastically given he's out of position, but I think he could be doing so much better either as one of our 2 CM's or as a third CM. It would also free up the right of midfield so we could actually play a right-winger instead of a bizarre left-footed centre-mid.

Furthermore Naka always had the technique/dribbling guile to cut in and make that extra half-yard to provide a decent cross. Robson has really been struggling in that sense.
