I think we need to show solidarity with the team, manager and the club now, especially since we are back at the top of the pedestal.

It's all about confidence now, and confidence breeds confidence, so I believe we have to unite behind the manager and club, and try an inspire the team to stay top of the league until at least we can get to January, and get some quality in to consolidate our position.

There are plenty of us that have reservations about things, including myself, however I believe it is imperative that we all show solidarity now, and send out a clear signal of intent to our rivals, that we shall not be moved.

Its easy to say after a comfortable win but Moscow apart, we've been poor every time we've been majorly tested so far.

The team will always get my backing, but my concerns remain.

It is a domino effect, if the team give us something to back then we back it then the team play better and so on. Today was hopefully the start of 3 home wins on the trot, if we win midweek and beat Aberdeen we will gain a wee bit of momentum going into the January window and hopefully kick on from there. The next 2 games are crucial.

I think today was a big day. If the scores had gone the other way round the league would have been potentially almost lost. Today has probably ensured Mowbray will make it to the January window/next OF game. If he does that then he will almost certainly survive the season IMO because there is no point changing manager in March or something. Fair enough, as long as the league is not badly running away from us I think even major doubters like myself who do not think he is great tactically, inexperienced etc would still like to see if he has talents at dealing in the transfer market that make up for that. You do get guys who are primarily people with an eye for a player and that can make up for weaknesses elsewhere. Apparently in MON's team it was John Robertson. In the famous Brian Clough team it was Peter Taylor who was the player spotter.

I am trying to be positive Rab as it is almost like I have been in a fifteen round contest with Muhammad Ali since the end of last season. :icon_mrgreen:

I feel punch drunk at times with all the up and downs we are going through but I am going to be strong and see this through to the bitter end :50:

Great result and well done to Mogga. Seems he's breathed some confidence into the team after last week's debacle.

Should be shown all the time, win loose or draw

The team should be only slated when either not giving a * or complete lack of form, neither of which has happened.

Deciding to get behind the team after a win smacks of bandwagonsim

Thats down to the players to do that. I like most are always behind the team but when they are playing like they have been then it's difficult to remain positive.
Saying that though, nows the time to turn it round and finish the year strongly.

I agree it's important to show solidarity. But I think it's even more important to show solidarity when we lose.

Showing solidarity when we win, and then chucking the toys when we lose or draw, is the kind of boom-&-bust cycle that has destroyed English international football for decades. I would hate to see it take hold among Celtic fans.

Anyway, appreciate your call for solidarity DV. And if we should fail to take the three points against Aberdeen next week, as Rangers have done today, then - even solider-arity.

    ( Whit dae yi mean - of course it's a word! :icon_mrgreen: )

gd post dr.v defo the case the team always need backing even when they are playing poor people should still be going for the sing song. even if we don't win the league this year i'd still like TM in charge for nxt yr but i'm confident now the team can spend some time together without breaks we'll start to turn the corner. the press are out to get TM and the celtic fans calling for his head are only making the laptop loyals job easier. the aberdeen game nxt wk is a vital 3 points and win against them will prove we are ready to take our title back then we should strenghten in jan while the ibrox fire sale will be in full swing
