He didn't start against in the last couple of games, and we had problems. I feel he has the ability to create and lead attacks, something we lacked.

People like you really get my back up, were you at the game?

Mcgeady was good today, without him we would of struggled, he set up several one on one chances, his control was good, he held the ball, and had the confidence to beat his man on several occasions.

The first half was rotten, and if mcgeady wasn't playing i would of left at half time, which i have neve did before btw.

Becareful what you wish for...sometimes you don't know what you have until its too late.

    my take on it
zaluska 5 not really tested but no clean sheet,
hinkle 7 our most consistant performer this year,
fox 5 wasted possesion to often,
caldwell 6 not sure if any the balme for saints goal is with him but wot a ball for mcgeady for skippys 2nd,
loovens 5 quiet game saints goal only black mark,
    mcgeady 9 unstopable today,
n'guemo 6 went about his job well,
    crosas 6 played well,
zhi 7 unluky to have well earned goal chopped off,
mcdonald 8 good brace but should have took the match ball home,
    samaras 7 good finish
area 111 9 non stop chanting

mcgeady was outstanding today without him we'd struggle altough i also think we are a bit to dependet on him. good to see skippy among the goals. samaras showed wot a good finisher he can be. i think one of our main problems is samaras dropping deep to link up with midfield to often he is surrounded by the opposition players with his back to goal he can't get turned and looks clumsy and losses possesion he is far more dangerous receving the ball infornt of him and running at defenders and getting shots off

That's what I said to people who wanted Nakamura out, when he did leave. We missed a midfield genius when Mowbray came, but the good thing is that ZZ has the elements we need.

    You are changing the subject!!

We do miss nakas free kicks and creativity, but you are saying z z is carrying mcgeady and that it is anything but!!

McGeady has issues if there's no playmaker in the squad, because the opposition then gang up on him. He's sometimes selfish and one-dimensional, but if there's a playmaker in the squad, it's less of an issue.

just read thru thread was at the game n'guemo didn't strike me as a stand out but good to see a few of you think he's contributing zz is not celtic although he's a gd addition to the team and fortune is gonna come good have faith and don't belive the laptop loyal assessment of flop cos he's worth more than rangers net spend in the last 3or4 windows cant belive people writing him off on a handful of apperances and a couple of goals to boot.
    n'guemo o-o-o
    n'guemo o-o-o

    One dimensional?

Can you explain that? McGeadys the kind of player you have no idea what he's going to do next,

The 3 points was all that mattered today and I am delighted we got them coupled with an Aberdeen win so it was a good day all round.

I thought Aiden was excellent today and N'guemo was good as well. Skippy looked better and we got a good game from him and Sammy was good too.

Fox and Crosas were poor and I was disappointed with Fortune when he came on due to his terrible shooting.

Anyway we are back on top. Hail Hail :celt_2:

Good to see the side getting the win, heart was in my mouth when we conceded before half time, but our strikers took their goals well and we didn't play too badly.

    Atmosphere wise though - morgue.

He's only capable of running fast and dribbling. He'd be far more dangerous if he had a hard shot, or could ping long-range passes. He did well today, but he has a lot to thank to ZZ.

thought it was a very laboured performance today lots of the ball with little penetration in the first half the passing was poor, fox in particular. The movement of the fowards at times is non-existant somtimes when a player has the ball the rest of the team hide and i think this is the main problem at the moment

Good point and ive been saying that for a while ,some players dont want to be the one to get it in the ear from the support ,its a lack of confidence with some.

right * off today, at the bookies in cp i put 4-1 on at 14-1,imagine me jumping up and down when we got awarded a penalty,*, then they go and give it to mcdonald to complete a hattrick
    * at best
if this league goes down to goal difference.....

Exactly what I was going to say, he lost any respect I had for him. Surprised that he's contributing what with Naka and mizuno not playing/havin left. Suppose Zheng Zhi is Chinese, that's Asia so it's no surprise he is piling all the credit that aiden is due to him. Iv been one of mcgeadys biggest critics but he was absolutely outstanding today.
