Bhoys and ghirls. Did any of yous manage to get to the St Pauli Dusseldorf game when we were in Hamburg?

I managed to get in without a ticket. Met some hardcore Pauli fans and they just marched me through after intimadating the stewards. The guy who got me in was tremendous! If you can imagine Dave Grohl dressing up as a German lumberjack, mullet and all then you have my man right there.

What an atmosphere. Not just in the stands but the whole area. Fans mixing, drinking beer, eating pretzils and there was even a carnival.

I lost my mate (DaschOO) just before the game but found out he got in for free with the Dusseldorf fans!!

After the game and a couple of pubs I ended up back at some guys house for beers, lasagne and to meet his wife =D NOTHING SAUCEY!!

    The places you end up.

Unfortunately once again, just like my previous story about my time in Lisbon when we played Benfica, the anti kilt brigade were out. Plastic Paddies. Anyways, * them!! The kilt got me into the game free and the burds LOVE IT!!!

I got 15 tickets from the Fanladen, a social project in St Pauli! there were 14 of us so i had one spare!

Punted it to 2 celtic fans then watched them toss a coin to see who went back to the pub and who went to the game, surreal!

Got good banter with boys from the catalan and our banner ended up on the pitch with the players at the end!

What a trip, uploaded about 500 pic onto bebo n we were only there 5 days haha... kept in contact with a few lads and will be back next year for the opening of the new stand!

So do I mate but that's the only way I can describe these bawbags.

The Brazen Head have set up a new system and will be showing all the St Pauli games live. Could just be home games i'm not sure. I've always wanted a 2nd team.

honest to * mate i send you a wee email reminding you about the game and telling you about the brazen and you have to go and steal all my glory! :icon_mrgreen:
as far as i know its showing all pauli games home and away (according to some uk st pauli fans forum i stumbled across bored in work anyway)

talking about the game though the guy referred to as a plastic paddy was as scottish as me, wearing an ira t-shirt and trying to pick a fight because we were wearing kilts so if anyone deserves the phrase its clowns like him in my opinion. both the pauli fans and dusseldorf fans were tremendous. ended up drinking in a random basement bar with a celtic fan we'd met on the wednesday and thursday, some pauli and dusseldorf fans and a random german hearts fan till about 3 in the morning when i realised i had to be out my hostel in 8 hours and should probably go try get some sleep. was a fantastic trip, why does lidl here not sell 6 packs of screw top plastic bottled beer for 1.80?

we flew from liverpool to bremen for about forty quid return. bremen to hamburg train is about 30 euro i think and takes an hour and a half. couldn't really tell you much about the tickets cos i got given one by the away support but i think contacting the fanladen seems to be the best way. alternatively they have an english version of their website you could buy tickets from fcstpauli.com: official web site - Home

    would definately recomend it

I think the tickets were about 12 euros and upwards. You can bOOk them online and pick them up at the stadium.
