Broto was before Seville, mind he couldn't play in final, cause he wasn't registered?

Also Petrov was sold for almost 9 mil, got final payments last season

great thread went thru a range of emotions reading
the ins and outs. kinda of like when you hear a song
and you remember what you were doing at the time.
the one that interests me is young cuthbert is he still on loan?
i seen him in many reserve games and always hoped he would
    progress.

With regards to Larsson and Graveson being on the said ridiculous wages, thats rubbish! Larsson was on 40k, and im nearly sure it was just less than 40k. Tommy wasnt on 50k a week, he was on 35k, but was getting big bonus' for playing, goals, etc hence why he was the dearest player we had on our wage bill, still wasnt 50k though....

no , larssons final deal made him scotlands highest paid player, on nearly 50 grand a week, plus a million pound pay off means he earnt on average 75 grand a week that year. and FACT balde was on 38 grand a week for 5 years.

Balde was on 32k, Larsson was on 42k. Bonuses are not considered a part of the player's weekly wage.

Yes we seemed to give a lot of players away as free transfers, obviously for various reasons. We also got very lucky with the signings of Larsson, Lubo and Bobo Balde, collectively they cost under £1 million.

So we might find a few gems out there with their contracts running down, we certainly need some quality players at the moment.
