am not backing or for sacking him i dont think he was the correct choice at the time but consider this fergie was weeks away from getting the sack at man u until he ditched his prudent aproach to buying, so things can change very quickly in football ,if he has lost the dressing room then ther is no way bak and the board will be very worried about giving more money for january when looking at fortune.

I said it at the start of the season and I am going to say it again that Mowbray was and still is the wrong man for the job.

Mowbray is a Yes Man to the Board, and I am as sure as a cat has kittens
that we won't win the league under him, and it will be 2IAR to the Huns :31::31::31:

We should cut our costs now and dispense with his services before he wreaks any more havoc.

The only man who can rescue us now from this precarious position is Owen Coyle in my opinion.

OC was my first choice for the job and I reckon we should pursue him again.

I would like to revamp 'fritz a grand ol team' as its a bit old and cheesey, needs some fat beats
Getting fed up with this , I don't want any of these guys in, I think Mowbray needs time and the right personnel, of course he probably wont be given it by the people who know better.. they knew he was going to be crap.. and of course, they were right.. half way through the season a loss to dundee utd and the toys are well and truly out the pram, I just wish some people could wait and see how things pan out, honestly, if these people had there way, Wim Jansens would have been booted out the door by January and rangers would have 10 in a row, they forget how rotten his team was initially and how long it took to get going, paul lambert couldnt kick a ball for us and everyone thought henky was a swedish muppet.. you think im kidding, everyone has this romantic notion that that team was really wonderful, they werent, what they never did though was give up, they didnt stop grafting and believing.. sometimes I feel as if thats all our fans want to do, give up when the going gets tough..were not winning all the time so sack the manager, sack everyone.. what sort of attitude is that, thats not supporting your team, thats just getting angry because your not being personally gratified everytime you watch a football match.. I know everyone enjoys winning but you dont want to go down this road so early in a new managers career..

i think mobrays signings have been absolutely shocking!!

and i would be the first calling for his head, however ki sung-yong is going to be the saviour of celtic park.

i don't think think this is his doing, but i would like him to get untill the end of the season regardless.

we have the team, and resources to beat the opposition especially the huns, we just need to get rid of the liabilities, bring in a captain, a goalscoring midfielder, and a few strikers a bully, like sutton or hasrton, and a nippy striker that can put the ball in the back of the net.

This can be financed by the sale of brown and our shot shy strikers and ther4e are 5 of them!!!!!

Lets keep things in context, when Jansen took over it was one of the most crucial seasons in Celtic's history and it was also the dawning of a new era which cant be compared to the current climate.
To say that people nowadays arent supporting the team because they call for the managers head is just crass.
Rangers had the balls to realise that LeGuen was a mistake and acted swiftly to stop the rot, I fear this board are too concerned with the financial consequences of telling the City that the manager has been sacked.

I've yet to see a compelling case put forward that will explain why Mowbray will come good.

I dont consider the compensation costs of terminating his contract to be a valid argument btw.

Quite simply, Mowbray and his staff do not have whats required to get the best out of this group of players.

mate, he might not be the answer, however wee need a captain!!! and alonside odea i think campbell would be immense. he would be the captain, phisical and odea would be the pace reliable ch that would provide cover.

thats just an opinion, but i want odea to get the rest of the season cos hes never let us down

the team is pants, has been for years we just got away with it as the hun was worse. results are unsatisfactory but they paid a fair dollop of cash to get the 3 of them from WBA so the board ain't going to sack them 20ish games in. i'm all for giving a manager 2 years but not against this current rangers team - so if he doesn't stop 2IAR he has to go in summer. til then we need to sit tight and hope rangers sell their better players in jan.

if the worst happens, and rangers get a new owner in who clears their debt we're looking at a period of total gers dominance again.

As has been said he cannot defend the corners I mean tanadice is always a difficult place to go and we were the best team just didnt kill them off but we didnt play badly just sleeping for 2 goals and maybe goes to show tm has said all along he doesnt think some of them are good enough so he needs time to sort it out . As we know in the summer he maybe wasnt their first choice but all that did was mean he got here a little later than ideal with regards the new season so maybe didnt have enough time to get in the polayers he really wanted so lets try and be patient nothing is decided in november

How can people possibly say he needs time, we are playing in the worst SPL competition ever in terms of quality. We dont have a world class team, but we do have by far the best team in the league. The only real competition rivals are in shambless off the field. And most of all our results have declined the longer TM is in charge. Id love to c ties cut, cause it will cost us more in the long run financially than a payout to TM to *. We are in risk of no CL and TM spending money on more diddys like Fortune and Fox. If these players are what TM perceives as quality signings that are better than we have and will improve the team then we have more porblems coming up.

Alright, so Mowbray hasn't had the greatest of starts to his tenure, and the team has been underperforming. But we need stability. Pressing the board to make snap decisions to sack the manager, or even calling for his head, is not going to get us anywhere, but lets keep a sense of perspective. Chopping and changing managers and rash decisions at board level led to the catastrophic decade that was the 90's. We cannot, we must not return to those days.

Has he signed world class players? No. Has the team been playing fantastic football? No. Has it helped that the central defence has been woeful all season? No. In fact, the central defence is the bedrock upon which a team is built, and given the poor performances of Caldwell and McManus in particular, this is hardly been providing a solid foundation, nor has the poor form & injuries of other key personnel helped.

The international break is behind us now, and there is the better part of 4 months, before the next one. Thats 4 months, including a transfer window in January, in which to see where Mogga is heading. This is the crucible of the season, when the title can be decided. Give credit where credit is due. Hibs and Dundee Utd are both working hard and, I for one would like to see them remain in tact after the window, and continuing to push us. With 'that other team' is crisis, who knows what state they will be in in 4 months time. Furthermore, a microcosm of our patchy home performances will be examined over the next week or so, with 3 matches back to back, to see if we can get some momentum. This is a results business, so lets see where we are at that point.

I love Celtic, however I am also a realist. There is nothing the press would love more than to deflect all the attention away from Ipox, by getting to cover a civil war within Paradise. So lets stay united, back the manager, for as long as he is the manager. But, please, even of the more reactionary fans out there, give the guy the next 4 months, and see what development and improvement TM can make in that time. At which point we may be well clear of the pack, or embroiled in a league title race. Either way, back the manager, back the team, and keep the faith.
