Agree with you the only stumbling block with either of the 2 strikers would be
- transfer fee
- wage demands
- the players wanting to play in Scotland.....

Yeah the playing in Scotland bit probably outweighing the monetary problems... even though the money is the first hurdle the fact is we have a * league that not many players would find appealing.

...also considering our European exploits this year we are going to be attracting a lower standard of footballer until something drastic happens.

Really? I've never heard of a contract running out in January? Are you certain?

If it's true then we might aswell throw a contract at him

 

The CL was a major part for Celtic to bring players in but even thats not gauranteed anymore especially when were lying at the foot of the EL, point is players would rather turn out for a Championship side rather than us.

So forget all talks of the likes of even Benni. A years time and Celtic will be a squad which is full of mid division Championship players whos team dont havemuch hope of promotion!
