lol i wouldnt be happy if we let parker go, same with steven taylor. parker is amazing and i dont know how he hasnt broke into the england squad and taylor is injured at the minute im sure his name has been mentioned up there though?

 

Left back is an absolute must: Hammell or Harte?

 

personally i think we need to improve in a few departments for next season too make sure that paul le guen doesnt have a good first season at ibrox . firstly i think we need a new left back , we should play wilson on the right and drop telfer he simply isnt celtic class. ian harte is a name which has been brought up i think this would be a great singing . im just wondering what other fans think about this and what other players we should try and bring too paradise.

id sign cover for right mid and get naka on there all the time, fire stan bk to the middle, pie keane and lennon and get some quallity player for the defensive mid role, and then mgeady and maloney on the left

we don't need that much if we can get ian hearte take him charlie mulgrew will come back from loan and can see how that gose. a RB is essential. elsewhere i think we have penty of cover. we have a youngish side now and players like maloney, beattie, mcgeady, lawson, mcglinchey will only get better.
I don't know why but i have this gut feeling that we will sell boruc andpocket most of the cash. the summer is notgoing to be a showbiz event like the dirty mob. but we'll quietly go about our buisness

 

I dont think we would go for Harte.

We need to get the scouts out workin overtime to find wee gems from around the world. It would be almost impossible to keep the wage bill down whilst bringin in proven players with bags of experience.

Wouldnt mind if it was some of those Swiss guys that thumped Scotland, ( I only knew Senderos in that team!)

Or even some unknowns from teams like Bratislava, or Basel or something like that.

harte for left back.he is more like 30-31 but he can cross from the wide areas and fantastic at deadball situations.
rumour is ,Levante are ready to let him go since Schuster(who signed him) was sacked last year.He would love to play for Celtic too.

 

we've had enough cheap imports to last a life time some have been good some bad but it should be jobs for the bhoys from now on and a few players in to add deepth

 

I think the most important thing we need for next season is health. Imagine if there weren't 3-4 injured players all the time

Apart from that, 1-2 defender would be nice. Especially one for Telfer (if Wilson will be playing left).

In the midfield, we have McGeady, Nakamura, Pearson, Petrov, Maloney and probably Lennon and Keano (?). I'd give a youngster a chance, so not really a replacement needed in my eyes.

I assume next season Zurawski, Beattie, Miller will remain. 1-2 more strikers would do the trick. Imagine 2 were injured... argh terrible thought.

Harte was 28 this year and would be a class signing as he has gd defensive ability aswell as a gr8 free kick!! Gdbye to Telfer 4 me and we shud also try 2 get a gd centre half.
