My first game was a testimonial at parkhead in the seventies unfortunately lol as my uncle used to drive a supporters bus so i used to get to a few games and i suppose being a supporter for so long makes me more tolerant and much more appreciative of the good times because ive seen plenty of bad times but i love how our club is known throughout the world and proud to see how our fans are welcomed anywhere they go unlike some fans and proud also that we have NEVER disriminated against any player no matter who again unlike some clubs .

Celtic doesn't mean that much to me. I prefer crochet, interior design and on the weekend a spot of flower arranging.

    Celtic is me.
The club is everything to me.
I remember being a wee bhoy and when the sports news came on I always shouted my Dad down from whatever he was doing and I was so excited to hear our name on the TV. I was only about 6-7 at the time! I get up every morning and look for the first sign of Celtic in the papers. I remember getting my first season ticket for the 98-99 season just after we stopped Der Hun from winning the dreaded 10 and I walked into the stadium and stood in awe for a minute and my Dad just said " Your Home son :86: ".
I have been through some * with us but the Highs certainly outweigh them! I love this club like mad. I love the aura of the place and how we fought agaisnt Bankrupcy in the 90's. We are also a bastion point for Republicanism and it is not a crime.:50:

Celtic Is More Than A Club.

From The Ashes Of 08/09 Will Rise The Champions of 09/10.

Celtic means a lot to me, but I feel I'll never truly be accepted by other Celtic fans where I live because I used to follow the huns. I was indoctrinated into it, near enough my whole family support Rangers and as a result I felt I had to fall into line. I went with my dad and to a few games with my Rangers supporting mates. Eventually I realised I wanted * all to do with the vile organisation that is Rangers and all the jackbooted loyalist hunnery that goes along with it and I infact didn't have to fall into line with the rest of my family. So here I am today. For me Celtic is more than a club, it's about rebellion, freedom and identifying with what you want to be. It's part of who I am as a Republican Socialist who wishes to see independence for Scotland and Ireland.
