Hi sorry to intrude but just wanted to share a memory with you all.As my user name says i am a sheff utd fan.I had to come on here tonight just to pay my respects to Jinky. When he came to sheffield utd he was by no means the player of old but the heart and legs were there for all to see.I always remember we played fulham when they had best and moore playing for them could they catch the little * it was a joy to watch.I was only 12 at the time but it felt such an honour even at my age that such a * like footballer wore the red and white stripes of my team.To this day he remains one of the biggest name players ever to play for us.Although he only played something lke 15/20 games for us i`m sure there will be a minutes silence in his memory. Thanks for all the great memories Jinky.
P.S. what price would he be in todays transfer market.
    RIP

Thanks mate! Jinky's best days were at celtic but no doubt he impressed everywhere else he went. In todays market he would be very hard to value because i dont think even Chelsea could afoard him. R.I.P Jinky

Almost forgot. One game we were losing 4-0 at home to wolves.Guess who the guy was who nearly got brain-damaged to score with a diving header to make it 4-1.Think that sums the man up.I`m actually filling up here that was part of my childhood, thanks again Jinky

Great to hear it was'nt just in scotland and europe he terrorised defences. He may have lost some pace but never the skill or heart.
