for me its not all about technicalities and rules. Its about intent and respect and people singing loudly outside showed bad intent and a lack of respect. What you do within the rules tells you a lot more about a person IMO. You can be generous and respecrful or you can be self indulgent and disrespectful and those fans who sang outside were the latter. From what others have said though we are probably crediting them too much with actual thought and they may have simply been * up neds doing what they do best.

    Just can't get enough!
I'd actually like to go back on my point, why don't the club just donate to these charities and have one minute silence on the day of the match closest to the 15th May every year.

No Celtic fan would disagree that if we only have one minute silence as a club every year, that is the one!

The singing was outside of the ground and from what i could see alot of them had a good drink inside them, so what can you expect other than people singing rebs. It was definetly outside the stadium.

to me they seem like people that don't say thank you when you do them a favour. it's not against the law, but still annoying and it's all about manners. hope you get me wrong, I'm not supporting them. But some users asking for them to be banned from CP is just ridiculous and silly. some people need to calm down a little bit and see no one got hurt and no window got kicked in, it's a matter of decency.

I can't understand why people can be so furious about that, I'm far more annoyed at our performance on the pitch and the fact we didn't win again.

Yes, i agree those who don't agree with it have a right to protest. But why protest either inside or outside of the stadium ? Can they not see the bigger picture and the potential damage that this does to Celtic as a club and as an overall support ? Why not hold their protest in Falkirk High Street ? Because they knew what they were doing and also the effect it would have, with little regard for the good name of the club and its supporters !

The minutes silence was defintley edited on Sky as when the singing starts it quickly goes to pre-recorded silence as when it ends the crowd are clapping before the sound comes back on,just like when Man City fans were letting of fireworks during Munich anniversary silence, they have a way of editing any chanting at all events now.So most people watching on Sky would be unaware of any protests etc

    I watched it on sky.
    I heard the singing.
I heard the booing after the minute was up.
This excuse of the fans being outside the ground has been used before and it just does not wash.

    Noticed that myself,
Dosn't really matter but what were they singing?
Most of the celtic fans had the minutes silence anyway so why talk about the ones who disgraced the club:31:

Yes but the singing was a lot worse ,if you view the Arab tv clip.
I am, not using it as a excuse the opposite in fact, listen to the singing on sky and it goes off as soon as its heard, and comes on after the booing/clapping starts ,edited by Sky staff.Im pointing out that it was even worse than what we heard on Sky.

Falkirk FC have a right to hold a silence on their own property for whatever reason they deem fit. Celtic, and our supporters, have an ethical duty to respect the wishes of a fellow football club.

If you cannot do that, understand then that you, as a Celtic "supporter", have a duty to be the greatest possible ambassadors for your club and to conduct yourselves with the respect that the world has came to expect of Celtic supporters.

Failure to uphold the proud reputation of Celtic is to fail Celtic. Regardless of one's opinion on the royalist tosh that surrounds this stuff, one has an ethical duty, rights or no rights, to prevent the name of Celtic being dragged through the mud. To actually drag it through the mud yourself is, frankly, tantamount to Hunnery of the highest order.

I watched the game today on ESPN sports from Dubai, transmitted on showsports. The singing was not blocked out at all. It sounded extremley loud, "so its not some hun playing with the sound with Youtube". It is also transmitted by Al Jazzerra Sports. The cameras did not show any celtic fans at all during the minutes silence so I did not know if it was coming from inside or outside the stadium hence comming on here to get more info. ESPN transmits all over the world. It certainly has not done the club any favours! Not just in Scotland but everywhere it was transmitted.
