    just shows you. tens of thousands of celtic fans in seville and no arrests. a few thousand rangers fans in villareal and 8 arrests plus the villareal team coach's window smashed. hope other european teams dont associate our fans with these idiots

    Lets not get smug about Rankers getting into trouble with UEFA due to sectarian and bigoted chants as Celtic have still got a problem with fans chanting I.R.A and dirty orange *,we should get our own house in order before telling others to do the same.

    It definatly will as we are straight into the champions league next season and UEFA will be keeping close tabs on all clubs after a few incidents that have happened this season, it would be a disgrace for Celtic to fall under any type of sanction from UEFA for a few mindless idiots that cannot control themselves,just as what is about to happen to Rankers.

    Your right that the fields is a folk song but some of the lyrics have been bastardised and chants of I.R.A through it dont do us any favours.

    i don't chant IRA at the gorund any more but why is this bigoted the ira are no longer a paramillatrygroup they gave up there guns and sat down to talk. to sing about murdering others or harming them is totaly out of order but i don't think celtic fans are guilty of that

    It is not what we think that matters mate it is UEFA's perception of us and at the moment any UEFA delagate at any Celtic game will here chants of IRA and other infamatory song's we dont want to fall into the same catagory as Rankers and be subject to the same sanctions or punishments.
