Darron Gibson!

Can anyone confirm whether were going to sign him in January on loan?

Heard from a pretty good source at OT, but I didn't want to claim I had a source because you can never say a hush-hush source is reliable. However, he did tell me Owen was signing for United months before he signed. He's a horsey man if you know what I mean!

Darron Gibson is a 22 year Irish international currently at Man Utd who is currently struggling to break into the first team, could use the loan like Jonny Evans did with Sunderland!

I rate him myself he could probably do a job for us!

I dont think he is any better then wat we have he cant even get into the ireland team and were not to strong in that area , Plus that hun fergie wont do us any favours

 

Thats a pretty fair point. Irelands central midfield is arguably the weakest link in our team and Gibson has not been able to nail down a starting spot when he has played.

He has had some flashes of quality when playing for Manchester United but central midfield is not an area of urgent need for me. Although a real play maker would be nice and that Gibson most certainly is not.

Very good player who could do a job for us. I said him in my player suggestion bit, didnt know we were linked, just a player i think would do well at CP

He can pass and shoot.

I dont see him as being any worse than what we have in the squad at the moment TBH..

He can pass far better than Brown and he has a bit of a shot on him... Robson would probably be a better all round player though but he would definetly add quality in teh CM area...

Could be a good move for both clubs and player...

Lets say it is true, what does that mean for N'Guemo or Brown? Whats the point in signing Ki Sung-yong. It would also mean that Flood, Robson, Crosas, Zhi has looked to leave or TM doesnt care what they think. All that upheavel for an average reserve player at Man United?

This is what it means N,Guemo and Brown can get to * they both are liabilities in the midfield and lose the ball constantly so therefore i wud take gibson without a doubt! flood has no future at the club either and crosas doesnt look like he,s gonna be a regular so if we can get decent money for these players in the summer id take it!
