Killen Should Play

This is just a thread about Killen ,but there could be another 5-6 threads about others who shouldnt be there .

And your probaly right about the board and there merchandising ,anything to add money on even if it means lowering the standards of football.

 

never thought he was ever good enough for us and tbh he should never have had a chance to play for us! imo if the team that finished tonite started i feel we would have won easy(which we should ve done anyway) i just felt that most of the game we did okay until it went up (or anyway near) that ejit "killer" killen the whole play just stopped! i would have sebo in there rather than him anyday

 

Killen played the lone striker very well against Benfica away but he is much
better when he has a fellow striker to knock the ball down too.

 

Maybe Killen should join the Portuguese league then ,cos he isnt doing it here .

 

i like Killen but not as lone striker. He should play with Skippy alongside

It is not Killen's fault. It is a manager who plays one up front against Hearts
at home. Fear is the name of the game now.

 

Killen can't play up front on his own . Simple as mogga with a bad choice there . For a change

 

i wouldnt have played him atall should have started with sammy and skippy he needs to make the strikers work their * off in training with their finnishing skills and this mess would be sorted ffs the amount of chances celtic had

 

Whilst I agree with that, the fact is Killen was often shoved off the ball by Goncalves tonight and didn't win many balls in the air either. His strength and ability to win headers were my reasons for wanting to give him a shot in the team. If he can't do better at these things than he did tonight then he's going to be of no use to us whatsoever because he has nothing else to offer in his game.

 

I think you have to remember Marky that Killen is not really getting a chance
under Mowbray, as he is having him in and out of the team like a bride on her honeymoon :icon_mrgreen:

You can't expect Killen to have any match fitness and consistency when
Mowbray is chopping and changing the forward line so much. The trouble lies nearer to home in my opinion.

Like I said in a previous post, the most that he can hope for at this level is a role as an impact sub... Thats the height of it IMO

Killen is just one of a number of examples of how pish we are and how many mediocre players we bought under Strachan. He's a doo.

 

we have a habit of thinking that players that arent involved are the messiah! but lets be honest they aint playing because they are poor than the guys that are involved and these guys are mince!

 

Killen's contribution last night was woeful.

 

KILLEN a chance hes poor can,t hold the ball , no contol , he's no were near a Celtic player another poor Strachan signing.

 

The only thing Killen should be playing with is live ammo

 

I agree this was partly shop window, partly giving him a *final* chance, in (let's face it) not a priority game, that he has a place in our first 4 strikers. He let himself and us down, so goodbye.

 

When i first read the thread about him getting played i actiually thought he was posting himself.
how anyone who claims to love and asppreciate football could ever think he was a player defies belief.

he is a useless * doo, with no, absolutely no talent. Last night showed how far off the mark he is and how desperate we are that he is even on the * books.

another example of the total * Strachan bought. The place is drowning in mediocre players. The place needs fumigated.
