Ireland V France in November, anyone here think that the boys in green can make the World Cup?

Personally, I think they can. With a 0-0 or 1-0 win at home and then defend like * in Paris and nick one late on, most likely a jammy Robbie Keane goal. :)

I think they can.. Ribery is out and he would nearly be their best player.. but the only thing is is that Nasri is back

    So here to hoping....

It seems very unlikely, but I can see us winning, especially the way Trap plays, it can be crap to watch, but it does get results.

I've got a feeling we'll do it. Just don't concede any away goals in the first leg.

Im heading to it alright. Was supposed to be going to the away hamburg game on the 5th but had to cancel it a while back due to circumstances outwith my control. had the money saved and determined to get a trip in before christmas.

Flying return to Luton with ryanair and then easyjet to Paris. Staying 2 nights in paris in some hotel on the red light district:icon_mrgreen: Worked out at 170 for everything, have a ticket boxed aswell for the irish end. hope we sneak a win in lansdowne and itll be some trip

France!!! Not the team they used to be. I think Ireland can be confident.

Scotland beat France in the qualifiers for Euro 2008 home and away remember.

Yes, Ireland can do it. But it will be very difficult! I think the French still got a very good team. I still curse that late Italian equalizer!!!

We can beat them... It would be a * of alot easier if Trap would start the 2 Reids in cm instead of those donkeys in Whelan and Andrews... But Steven Reid is injured and Andy Reid will never get into a Trap team... Heres hoping he will...

Yeah, but Trap isn't going to bring anyone new in. If Cristiano Ronaldo found out he had an Irish granny and wanted to play for Ireland, Trap wouldn't let him play.

What does everyone think of this?

Personally, I wish he had gone with the Reid's and the usual others who are always mantioned, but I suppose he has a point when he says there is no point in changing something that works fine.
