keep zaluska in for the hearts game that will hopefully spring artur into great form in training to prove hes number 1

Last season our whole squad was abysmal. Saying Boruc was the same isn't anything new.

Of course he was our first team keeper, I think he'd still be 1st pick even if Žaluška was here.

And to say Lukaš deserves a chance over Artur is fair, but only while Boruc is injured. I can't see him making a breakthrough in the first team, but he's the player who would make Boruc's place shaky. Shaky, but still safe enough to get most of the games this season.

And he also said in press that he'll be eager to sign a contract that would keep him here untill the end of his career. That tells you a lot too.

 

Zaluska was hardly tested today but i did actually think that for the Hamilton goal he should have come for the ball, Artur would have collected that ball knowing full well 2 numpties like Caldwell + McManus werent exactly safe bets to clear it.
totally disagree that Artur should be left out of the squad, hes made a few mistakes in 4 years at Celtic but has saved us + won us matches on alot more occasions.

To have two goalies as good as we've got must be a welcome head ache for Mowbray, i feel comfortable no matter which of our two Polish goalies are in. Just as long as there's no Mark Brown, im happy!

 

Thought he was brilliant today, definetly saved the game for us. i dont agree about keeping him as number 1 but its fantastic to know we have really good cover!

 

Big Artur to blame for the Rankers goals ? * ? I must have watched a different game ! I'm sure it was down to the Chuckle brothers in front of him ! The Holy Goalie is number one, but no problem with Zaluska coming in at any time. Artur will know this too , if he starts to slip then there is an able replacement this season . Unlike last season !

 

didn't play his greatest game today, but he played pretty 'suicidal' (if that is the word for it) by running out of his box to challenge an accies player.
He had some great saves but could def be better

 

Zaluska played well. Kept us in the match at one point but id hope to see Boruc back soon.

Mabye next season Zaluska could be our number 1

Good back up keeper- much better than Brown! I saw hoim v spurs at Wembley as well. He looks 'safe' to me!

we are blessed to have 2 quality keepers at the club,boruc 1st choice for me but * have to keep playing well with zaluska waiting for a chance to be number 1.

Zaluska is a good goalkeeper but Boruc is a good goalkeeper that can have moments of magic like his save against hibs.
Also he winds up the huns which can only be a good thing

 

His save at the end was a great one but it is 1 i think Artur is also capable of making.
Until Artur is injured or suffers a serious loss of form like last season then i would keep the Holy Goalie in there. Celtic's No 1 after all

 

The way I look at it is do we need Artur more than we need an almost as good goalie between the sticks plus 8 million in the bank to spend on a striker and CB. I think we need the latter more than Artur. However, to make sure we get full value for him we need to at least keep Artur playing in the big games and especially the OF and Europa games where managers from the EPL etc tend to think is the best setting to judge Scottish players. Artur has to play very well till January for us to get full value because his catastrophic form collapse last season was very public and even extended to his Poland form. He has to keep rebuilding his reputation. If we can get 8 million in January we must take it.
