No coincidence when BBJ went off things opened up. Playing him along with Keane and Lennon in midfield is one dimensional. Only Maloney and magic are willing runners with Petrov on the fringes of the game and the two in the centre behind the play.
With Maloney and Magic running up front along with Naka's vision behind and the work rate of the other 3 it was a great final 1/2 hr

Lenny was superb today along with Keano and Naka played well when he came on so why the * are we complaining??????????????????
Hartson just didn't look up for it today but we all have our bad days and Celtic are a work in progress at the minute, so just be happy for a change everyone.

Maloney was different class by the way!

Cheers Ghirl.:50: people have got 2 realise the job Lennon does 4 the team. Bear in mind the sheepshaggers have being playing pretty well recently. That is until they met the green machine.

Lol i'm not saying your not entitled to your opinion, i'm just saying why i didn't go through a list of all the player who/where on or off the park when we scored 3 goals. I only said Lennon because in my opinion, he's the player that should be dropped for Nakamura. I like Lennon as much as the next guy, but i'm thinking of the team... and times are changing i'm afraid

When we played Maloney, Keane, Lennon and Petrov we won at Ibrox and beat Dunfermline 8-1. It would have been stupid to drop Lennon for Nakamura today. We scored three goals with Lennon on the pitch too today, so its unfair to single him out. When Hartson went off, the game changed and this was a great decision by Strachan.

Because the last two games with that midfield we were excellent.

We won at Ibrox and won 8-1.

    What more do you want?

I want us to play entertaining football, by using our best players and keeping in mind the future. Lennon won't be here much longer and Nakamura sitting on the bench does no good. We don't need Keane and Lennon playing together, one of them is more than enough. Shifting Petrov off to the right to fit in Lennon is ridiculous IMO

I just think that after two excellent performances, to drop the captain Lennon would have been stupid.

    Just my opinion.

I understand why GS played that team, but it didn't work this week and had to be changed in order for us to get the 3 points. It will be interesting to see the team next week, and i'll be asking questions if Nakamura isn't on the teamsheet.

I thought that Hartson looked less more mobile than normal today and after he went off the game changed. I thought Lennon was solid today and we controled the midfield throughout.

Naka was on the pitch but it was Keane that was involved in settting up the first 2 goals today. In my opinion Lennon has been a great player for Celtic and will continue to be great cover for Keane in Midfield, but please don't tell me Lennon is better than Keano,Naka,McGeady(Inj),Petrov,Maloney, and even Pearson. I think we will go far in the champions league next year with Keano pulling the strings. Lennon has a big part to play in the SPL next year in the lesser games and after the midweek European games. Sorry if this seems negative, but this is what i think is best for the Team.

    :celt_2: Another Great win today.

Lennon isn't going to be dropped, rested or anything else this season. There is no way Keane isn't going to be an automatic start either.
Petrov is always going to start also. This leaves 1 midfield position up for grabs.
Magic will always start when fit.
This leaves 1 forward position up for grabs.
McGeady, Maloney, Naka, Beattie, BBJ are fighting for 2 positions

The difference was when BBj was taken off, Stan was put up front and reminded me of Sutton at his best. Lenny was good, Keano was excellent.
Don't know if it's the end of the line fro BBJ. What with Kenny Miller coming in the summer. WGS is making it clear what kind of forward line he wants next year. Think the big man will be off.

Strachan was on a hiding to nothing today. If he had changed a winning team and lost every * would calling for his head.I happen to think that Naka is the best player we have, but I could understand why Gordon left him out. Incidently, there were hundreds of Japanese at the game today who must have been disapointed not to see Naka playing but they still cheered every Celtic move and their faces were a joy to see when he came on.

Naka to play at home is a must imo.Great substitution by GS yesterday, changing the Hartson with Naka worked a treat. One of the first things Naka did was run at McNaughton and shoot at the keeper who saved well

The Facts are when we played Naka,Petrov,Maloney and Lennon or Keane we lost goals when we play Lennon and Keane together out of the last 3 matches weve conceded 1 this is because we protected the defence well and Dons only had one chance yesterday (Brilliant Save Boruc) i think GS had to go with this team although when Naka came on it livened up the game but I wouldnt have taken anyone of from the start because the partnership up front is obviously working with 5 goals from the pair of them last week.Midfield we have Maloney firing in all cylinders getting goals nearly every week. Petrov best player in Scotland without a shadow of a doubt. Keane the best midfielder in the premiership over the last 10 years. Lennon a brilliant servant to the club and our captain!. I wonder if GS would opt for old MON tactics of 3-5-2 as this may cause any problems we have with leaving Naka out and Petrov can also play in the middle with Lennon and Keane.
