am no in. reason being your just gonna end up wae 1 noisy stand if yer lucky where as at the min u have jb's in the nw upper and sw and gb in the ne lower so u have a good spread of the people who want to sing thus encouraging more people to join in.
would love a standing section that is the real answer to a couple of problems football and celtic park have atmosphere and ticket prices

thanks pal i have been working overtime even if it takes me to next season to get 60,000 names i will knock my nuts in as i love celtic i do not want to see anyone take advantage of it. I know people say they are die hards keeny dal but there as been over a thousand reads and only nearly two hundred names it is disapointing. I would die for celtic it is my life i honestly have blood running geen and white. I love celtic but i need feedback and just not getting as much on this site as other sites but when i get the 60,000 names i will push for a lot of things that need change. I ave been through a lot in life and been hardened and I never give up and with apassion inside I will keep trying until I suceed anyway thanks for your support mate every siganture makes a difference and thank you very much hail hail and keep the faith

Been talking to guys about this and they all want the same thing - a safe standing area and for all groups to unit. Problem is some folks in JB and GB seem to be only intrested in self preservation.
When the RB started up the THE JBs wrote a letter to celtic saying they have nothing to do with them and then the JBs took there banner down of the back of 445.
The RBs just wanted the same thing as the rest in 445, a better atmo at the games. Some folks from the JBs seemed to take offence to this.
The JBs dont like the GBs either.
What happened to 1 celtic and all for 1 and 1 for all, the common good of the celtic supporter.

Your cause has mt full support and as iv said, if signed the petition like some of my other like minded tic fans

Cheers 206 signatures still have to get every member to sign it but i have to pm each one individually which is hard work so bear with me I have been on talking to gb and jb they think this is a good idea but no matter what you will alwys get some idiot trying to protest if they dont like it so the majority will

Lads the club do not want any form of decent singing section as it gives the fans too much power. An allocated section on the lower tier will attract people the club do not want to come to Celtic Park anymore.

The response will be ''there's already a singing section''. The official singing section they've set by, although in a * location, is gradually getting better. I suggest that instead of signing petitions, you either relocate to 445 or 111 and enjoy yourselves like we and the GB do every week with our mates.

The more people who move to these sections, the louder the place will become.

Trust me, people have met with the club in the past to discuss ways in which to improve the atmosphere and what came out of that? The Jungle Bhoys. With the demise of the JB, the singing section has improved drastically and will continue to do so if the right people move up and become involved. There wouldn't be a need for any groups, ourselves included, if people took action and moved to an area with other likeminded fans.

 

The petition is just not for singing sections it is for all matters at celtic park that need adressed right down to stewards and the board getting away with murder unite as fans and push the club foward cfc not plc

 

I've signed your petition mate but in all honesty, these issues have to be addressed off the internet and in person. We're constantly in disagreement with the club over various things such as songs, flags, banners etc in the stadium.

The problems have to be addressed in the stadium or at public meetings etc. not on the internet or with a petition the club won't even look at.

 

People is power and I will be confronting the board with my solicitor from belfast who writes for the celtic tiger. We are not to be taken lightly

I fully agree that people is power so in the mean time, everyone who wants change should group at the games and by that I mean either to 445 or 111 where there are already large groups of likeminded fans.

Please take this thread into consideration you may be aware of the online petition to create a better atmosphere in celtic park. We are well aware of the jungle Bhoys the rude Bhoys and the green brigade doing a fine job. To be quite honest we should not be having to carry out a petition for a singing section as all of celtic park should have the right to sing or dance or watever they want they are paying customers.

Well as it is going to be a lengthy process to getting 60,000 names on the sheet I am setting myself a target to the start of next season. I was chatting to Rude boy there. Until the meantime if anyone is passionate and loves to make celtic park a fotress even in home spls please reallocate through the ticket office to section 445 or section 111. This will prove in the meantime that the majority of celtic fans want to be heard just until we get the ball rolling. So who ever is going to reallocate drop me your name in this thread and I will do a count of it to see if we are progressing.

I will do everything I can to make celtic fc the club that we once fell in love with the board are demolishing are rupuation to line their own pockets. We can not sit back and watch this happen please reallocate and speak up and show the board we may just have every section going bonkers. Not Just certain sections and we will stand united as proud celtic suporters.

Correct - there is already a singing section but bare in mind the three allocated sections (443, 444 and 445) are in the gods and are restricted view. People may not want to move so far up. Why should people who want to stand and sing be punted to the back of the stadium?

If the club were serious about a proper singing section at the time they would have put serious consideration into having one on the lower tier.

With the amount of empty spaces there is now it tells me not alot of people will be renewing their tickets. The time is perfect for the club
to open discussions for a section in a better location.

As said though, in the meantime, move to 445 or 111. We are doing our best in 445 with what we have but the more people who actually make the effort to move up and get involved the better.

We don't bite and anybody wanting to meet us or have a chat offline about this sort of thing knows where we are. We're a friendly bunch:icon_mrgreen:
