sorry folks, that just started as me writin doon all the things i thought Celtic represented to me, then i started to go all " shakespeare " on it.

it's cheesy but i'm feelin it.

exactly as you say, it's a way of life.

i had a great arguement with a guy at work recently who happened to support liverpool.

he was giving me stick about our side, i said to him that not all of us get to pick our teams due to glory hunting. he said 'sure look at me, i support liverpool and you can hardly say we've had much glory'. he's in his 30's so i replied 'well when you were around 10-15 liverpool were very successful so you did pick them'.

i then asked him what team fellow members of his family support, he said 'well, my brother supports forest'. i then asked him was his bro much older than him and he said yes, by a few years. i then replied with 'well, it's quite obvious that he also picked his team as they were doing brilliant at the age people tend to pick their sides'.

so i then cut into him again by saying my whole family supports celtic and that he'll not know how it feels to be part of something special like that.

i suppose one way of saying it is that you can pick your friends, but you can't pick your family.

celtic for me is precious. way way bigger than just football. its like my heartbeat. life would be boring without it
