Celtic's midfield today had all the depth and durability as a Boots Cotton Bud.
Really need a leader in the middle of the park.

Absolutely agree with u there m8! He also needs to work on off-the-ball movements because there was no creativity apart from that chance were maloney got through with a 1-2 and got a cross in. IMO the team looked lazy 2nyt. Also, he said he has a long term vision for celtic. we want something * done now before we get even *!

Just bad, am gutted. Too many players look like they are just enjoying getting there wages and not earning them. It seems to me that something is wrong in the dressing room and it needs sorting, NOW!!

Actually a few of that team used to play under Mowbray.........Brooney included  TM has never really set the heather on fire anywhere and with so little money at his disposal I don't expect him to do here either.

Gunt, why do you continue to defend this guy when everyone can see he is rank * rotten?

What the * did he do tonight that justified his inclusion and made him look a 'bit more happy'?

what has happened to celtic park? i mean whats the record at home this season? under MON and WGS they seemed to relish being at home because it was like either a win or a draw now i think under mowbray his mentallity is..we are at home so we are expected to win...therefore he is nervous about the expectation and that transmits to the team and they fail miserably do u agree? we are dreadful absoluetly dreadful..im 16 so the sort of celtic team i know consists of larsson sutton lennon petrov etc..and also a team who can beat ac milan and man utd and get last 16 football this team has not got a tad on any team i support this is like watching a MON reserve team..its not moggas fault is football in general but we can do better

How can you give passing marks to Skippy, Broony, and Caldwell? They were among the worst on the pitch today. Aiden played much better than half the team and didn't seem to get the ball enough if you ask me. I agree with you that Naylor was bad, but he did put a few good balls in surprisingly, and I'm not one to defend him usually.

Sometimes I wonder if anyone in the team has actually got feet.

    Can nobody shoot?

Well, once again I kind of feel I watched a different game from most folk on here.

OK, we lost at home to a good team - but we were emphatically not crap, *, or hopeless.

We created a number of chances, but couldn't put them away. We didn't get any change out of the referee, nor did we get the rub of the green. I thought on the balance of chances created we deserved a draw tonight.

What does this tell us about the current setup at Celtic? Well, we're not as good as the best teams in the Bundesliga, but then we knew that already. In fact, this game pretty much just confirmed for me the same things I've already been saying on here. Our defense looks poorly-organised, we lack a top quality striker, and we miss Nakamura terribly.

On the plus side, McCourt seems at home at this level - would have liked him on for longer.

guys, just let it sink for a minute!

we as supporters are a part of it and if we fail to be faithfull how can the team be?...critcize ok. but come on we didn´t get done by as the huns did e.g. it´s just depressing cause we didn´t take our chances...of course thats been going on for a few games but still i feel it´s getting better each game...and ffs i still hope it ain´t dropping cause of the next spl opposition. these are the nights our players goin to their limits, and mathematically we still have a chance, eventho it don´t mean much but honour...the spl title is still main target! :50:

After a good start to the season, Aiden has reverted to type again in the last 3. Running into blind alleys etc. I dont think moving him back to the left recently has helped. It seems to encourage his overdoing everything. Noone was very good. I thought Maloney has a few flashes in the middle third of the game where his football brain helped but he was well under the cosh for most of the game too. I wont get too carried away with depression though. By Scottish standards Aidan and Shaun are about as exciting as it gets when they are on form. I just think the players are being very badly managed by someone who cannot get the best out of them.

We have no divine right to beat very good Bundesliga teams. We played well and the team are moving further towards playing attractive and effective football. Condemning the players and/or manager do nothing but make us Celtic fans appear spoiled. European games are a bonus while we remain shackled by the Scottish league. Lets just be glad we didn't disgrace ourselves and be happy.
