Yeah, it's annoying, but now, when a player is shortlisted you subscribe to receive news about him and you get it on the other news page and not your inbox.

It caused me to miss a couple of signings of my shortlisted players.

I signed Adler, he conceded 16 goals in first 6 league games and then got injured and was out for 2 months and I thought to myself what was I thinking as Carson was doing well enough.

Well since coming back from injury, Adler has conceded only 4 in the 9 games and I'm top of the table.

 

Barca & Real came looking for Gareth Bale off me, luckily for me, he became unsettled earlier in the summer and a nice chat and a new 4 year contract sorted all that unhappiness out.

Basically all the new contract did was remove his year wage rise! Score!

Currently trying to sign Simon Kjaer for €33M. Its alot but he's 23 and just as good as Miranda who developed into an excellent DC. Excellent attributes, personality, no injury concerns and relishes big matches, He has a fair strong left foot and has all the PPM's that I want. He ticks all the boxes for me and my team!!

Threadbare squad still creaking at the seams. Tried to sign Dan Gosling on loan from Everton to cover centre mid and right-back. * rejected me! The * 3rd placed team in Spain, Quarters of the Spanish cup (so far) and look good to get to the last 8 of the Euro League. What a *!

Only have 1.2 million to spend, hopefully on some unknown prospect to provide SOME kind of cover for nearly any position apart from striker. I also cannot believe that Ben Sahar is worth 6 million pound. He is utter utter rubbish, if only someone was stupid enough to give me 6 million for him.

Just played Barca in the first-leg of the Spanish cup semis, at the Nou Camp.

well lads.. I got put out in the CL quarter finals vs a Real Madrid team that was taking no prisoners. This was the final result


and that was after the best extra time I've ever seen vs Tottenham in the knockout stage..


Jo has just been in amazing form this season with Vela up front, 93 goals between them with Jo scoring 54 in 50 appearences! I just got them signed on long term contracts. Nani is unhappy because he's wanted by everyone lol but the highest I've been offered was 13mil.. and hes worth double that! McGeady is wanted also, but a new contract is being signed hopefully as we speak, Caceres is getting better and better next to Diahkte in defence too, here is last seasons amazing squad stats...


Deco left after refusing to sign a decent contract offer, and Ruud retired I tried to get him as a coach but he just wasnt interested. I have a relatively young squad so I still needed a wee bit of experience in there so...I got Ronaldinho..he scored 2 already from midfield and Henry is just my favourite player (outside Celtic IMO! lol), I was chuffed as * to get him at Celtic, regardless of his age. Also this season I signed Djouro from Arsenal for 4.odd mil and Sandro from Tottenham for an amazing 5.78mil! He's fukin TASTY! Donovan might be sold if I get a decent offer.
Saivet is coming more into his game so Im sure he'll see more first team football this season. Same is expected of Buonanotte (lol * trying to spell that!) My biggest problem is squad size, Ive only a few HG guys, just enough for CL luckily! but there have got tobe some sales, but offering them out night * up my team morale so am in a kinda catch 22 unless the players ask themselves for a transfer.

I just about gave up on this game after getting put out by Real, and the fact MW2 is this weeks craze it literally took me ages to complete last season lol

 

Just started my second season , won the treble in my first season and knocked out of Europa League by Everton on away goals in the quarter finals.
Drew Barca , Juventus and Standard Leige in the CL.

 

I'll be without my laptop for at least a week, which means no FM. I don't know how I'll manage.
