mick its easy to say the threads are repetitive mate , but why not start off a unique one instead of starting 1 saying the rest are repetitive ?

Glasgow is a great city but it has many problems. However I believe these problems are widespread all over the world. All you to do is watch the news and you will see violence and gang culture everywhere. Drug, gun violence and religious hatred are also widespread all over the world. In Scotland our problem is Sectarianism, in Spain its racism etc. So imo Glasgow is a better city than most.

this is a unique thread it gives folks a chance to say what they like or dislike about living in glasgow.i know all celtic fans are not from scotland, but alas i am,having said that theres nothing to stop anyone posting what they like or dislike about there home town.as i said in the thread it was a long time ago i left, and in truth i had forgot just what a fantastic city for shops architecture, parks ect, glasgow is i went for a drink in a few bars and when i left to return to derby i was kinda deflated by conversations i got involved in.please understand i am not having a go at glasgow im scottish and proud,it got me wondering if you leave football out of the conversation what do the people of the city like or dislike, the question is meant to be topical but not arguement.

i was in scotland not so long ago in glasgow spent a fortune, great shops, the buildings are stunning, and found cheap beer even better, found a few pubs that i didnt think would still exist spit and sawdust and all,and i had a laugh in them. few people asked about what team i support but as i wear a crusifix not many. the town was full of chinese tourists so something must be okay there.however as i got a taxi at 9pm there had been a stabbing and a hit/run. mick look at the news for nottingham, that is as bad, and when derby and nottingham play look again. thats not religon politics just hate.
scotland is a beatiful place has a great deal of history, think your visit brought back to many memories that it has clouded your judgement.
at least you support the best team. hail hail :celt_2:
