I don't agree that the red was the right call. A penalty on Del Horno and all should have been square. What * me off proper are the 2 handballs in the box that weren't called! In the first half, Chelsea's defender puts his arm up and deflects the ball and it isn't called. Then, in the 2nd half, Terry runs over Messi and then falls on the ball, hitting it with his arm. That said, I'm happy with the result. It honestly should have been 3-1, though. I though Henrik was going to put that header in.

Stamford bridge is a shithole, judging by the pitch. My high school pitch was as good as that!

Looking at the tape replay, Del Horno deserved the red, not only that he had been a bit radical prior without a card, why I dont know? :38:

I agree. The studs up challenge on Messi earlier should have put him in the books with a yellow in the first place. But, once again, Mourinho plays the 'oh poor me' game with the press afterword. Chelsea made out like bandits with a 2-1 result, IMO. Petr Cech is the saving grace for that team. They'd have been in serious trouble had it not been for his goalkeeping.

The red card was right. Messi jumped up defensively and Del Horno jumped into him. Look where the football was when Horno jumped at him. It was a leg breaking tackle but it was intimidiation of the highest order and the studs on Messi earlier, even thoough he didnt produce a card, contributed to the referee's decision.

Mourinho is a moaning *, he gave out when Sky sports played Essiens horror tackle on Hamman over and over, he rather talked about Robben 'good play' when he got Reina sent off. He lost to a superior team and he won't admit it.

Chelsea are a bunch o' *. They thought they could stop Barca from playing by making the pitch so wet it was like a bog!

But a bit of water can't stop world class fooballers from showing Chelsea a thing or two!!

Well done Henrik, ye played well when ye came on!

Jose has a cheek..talking about replays and rolling around.....UEFA should fine him for bringing the game into disrepute!* off Jose:47:

messi did make a meal of the tackle by del horno but so did del horno after pretending that he was hurt so the refree would think it was just an accidental clash
the diving reminded me of the other week where lehmann, arsenals keeper was rolling after he got tackled and when he realised he didnt get the free he got up and ran over to the refree complaining

was never a red card but he didnt do himself ne favours goin for a bodycheck instead of the ball messi made it look worse by jumping into him as well.nice to see a murhinio team suffer as a result of a dive, especially chelsea. they were lucky terry didnt get a penalty givin against him wen he flattened that guy in the box, stone wall!

Mourinho thinks he's the best manager in the world an he has the best team all over the world. But he's wrong until he blames referees and opponent players when Chelsea loses.
He thinks he and his players are infallible and that's why they can't learn on their faults and develop to become the best team ever as they wish to.

IMO Jose is a jiveass megalomaniac. I hate him...

for * sake, was messi pretending or na is not a question...
the question is if that was a red card foul - i think it was, there is no doubt ( agresive, in the direction of the player not a ball, and visious)

i don't suspect 19- years old messi - about cold calculation in this situation.....

the truth is that mourinio behaves very histerically

anyway in my own opinion barca was better than chelsea - and mourinio ( and the most of the english press) can't stand it - : "messi is great pretender!!" - * bullshit, alternative theme nothing else

    cheers ghirls and bhoys

ps. u have to remember that there is a little difference between english ( or scotish ) and continental refereing ( playin as well: more strenght on islands ) and u can quote the messi's situation in other way
