    why would any player in there right mind come to the scottish premier league when they can play top teams with great players week in week out, now lets be honest the spl is not even near the quality of the championship but is maybe just about on par with league 1 in england. Anyone who thinks keane will come to us in january is deluded.

    No, he spent 2 years in the championship or division 1, whatever look it up :50:. Blackburn were relegated in 1998-1999 and they won promotion back up in the 2000-2001 season, starting out again in the premiership in the 2001-2002 season. :celt_2:

    They were signings that people said we couldn't afford their wages, whether they were successful or not makes no difference to this particular discussion, all that it highlights is that in recent seasons we have been able to attract a couple of players that would normally be outside our price range, therefore it's not impossible to suggest we might be able to do so again.

    Ive got to say i am sick fed up of listening to this rubbish it's never going to happen, or if it does robbie will be maybe 34- 35 years of age.and i don't want that again after the other keane nonsense, hes on mega money at spurs well beyond our reach and there doing really well under Redknapp so why would he want to join us at this point in the SPL .:31:
