Could you explain "tongue in cheek" phrase to me? I think I understand the meaning of it, but want to be sure

 

You're right. When he played for Legia, sometimes he was overconfident ( especially in games against weak teams ) and few points were lost because of that

 

what boruc said was all in humor end of story

i noticed the daily record reported the bullshit yet for some reason they havent printed the comments artur or gordon strachan made about it in the last couple of days...strange

 

He didn't make them to a reporter. He made them at a football forum with Legia Warsaw fans where humour is the norm.

 

* the Mail was the only paper to run with the story. Right before a game(surprise surprise!). GS even said he was waiting to see who went with the story and only 1 paper was dumb enough to do it. If there was any ill feeling from the players they took out on the Pars. So Boruc will learn from it and the Sunday Mail/Record won't. It's done with IMO.
