instead of loovens and mcmanus who can he play? not heid, he's done. an 18 year old making a debut in the old firm? that would be completely mad. these players are the best he's got which is sad. do you think if he told them they were great all the time, they would magically play better? they need to decide whether they want to step up and play because that's the only way they're sticking around. i don't fault tm for not accepting mediocrity. I appreciate it. Quit whining and do what you are paid to do.

There footballers, highly paid footballers not little sensitive girls if the manager is talking about new signings it should give u the boot up the * u need to stand up, be a man and show him u deserve to play for Celtic. No one is showing this, except McGeady n Boruc the rest can * off but no one will take them because their pish

can you expand on this? What sort of tactics could have helped Caldwell with his troubles early on? What tactics could have prevented the 2 goals today?

You could blame him for sendin our best Def out on loan......Any way we are still top of the SPL so that will do for me...Only complaint was why didn't we go 3-5-2 when we knew Hinkel n Fox were out.

I don't know one single Celtic fan that supports TM because of the huddle, I know plenty that support him because he is the current Celtic manager.

I think his signings have been good to date

Fox - much better left back than Naylor

N'Guemo - a few dodgy moments but overall excellent

Zhi - based on today's performance excellent although too early to really judge

Fortuné - again too early to really judge due to his injury, but the games he's played in are the games when we as a team have played better, missed a couple of sitters but contributes more than goals.

You were told to cut out the insults - flaming other users is not permitted, debate the topic at hand without insulting those that disagree with you. Keep the thread on topic.

The biggest thing for me was all of us wanted a bigger name than TM for the job. Though if i give you an example of Roy Keane at Sunderland, biggest name they could have got yet he was partially a success and a faliure during his time there and in management at present. So it isn't all about the name, reputation, or percieved ability.

However if you look at Mogga, the team he put together at Hibernian would have been a title contender had the club not sold them- partly the reason why he went to WBA- like of ambition (or if there was finanical reasons i dunno) that led to Hibs fading away. He got WBA promoted having spent a similar amount at Celtic now, that is an achievement because he inherited a poor team from Bryan Robsons era at the Hawthorns. His team made a mighty fist of it last year btw. Were just a little short of survival, even though they were bottom, perhaps if they had been a little more geared to the prem (by being less honest and playing physical football more often) they may have came closer.
Also he got WBA to Fa cup semis

In my opinion, this is his ideal level and oppurtunity because he is inheriting a squad either on a par with the one at WBA, or just a bit better and he says he has ambition to play the right way and make more signings soon. He has said it will take him 2 years to get his team together. If ZZ is the type of player he is getting then i have to say i am pleased. I think some of the members of WGS team have a lot to answer for today, and in some parts of the season- they haven't played well. Though his signings have been good by the looks of things. Give it time.

I understand everyone's feelings in terms of how can the team under strach be so good and then under mogga be at a lower level than that but i think if the players that were part of strachs era hang on in- coupled with some new signings to do well this season it will be ok because TM will be able to get his men in and some will obviously have to leave. So i think this year is about sticking it out and trying to do well with what TM has got for now. empahsis on FOR NOW.

He isn't daft, he has seen what is missing from this team and he deserves time people. He is only just in the door.

Mowbray has come into a team that knew nothing but winning until the last game before he arrived. Its not something that was broken and needed fixed. This season we are far worse against all the teams above mid SPL standard. We cant handle even poor European teams, we cant handle Rangers and we can barely handle Dundee United, Hibs and Hearts. This is all down to the fact he is a football fantacist who cant set up a team (not just a defence) to defend. The early signs are that he will play flowing football but not be successful.

Owen Coyle, and Roberto Martinez are not good enough

Mowbray is the manager, give him a chance to assemble his team.
I am no different i am dissapointed but the overriding factor is that you cannot want him out don't be daft. Not at all. Support him and the lads. Strachan lost his first OF as well.

It is as you say the same players that Mowbray has. Ones who had 3 CL runs, two last 16s, were within one game of 4 in a row. All that has changed is we have an idealist manager without a clue tactically.

u have to play a system u got players for. and the best with this team would be a 3-4-3 which can be changed to a 4-4-1-1 if we got a good result.

Boruc; McManus, Zheng Zhi, Caldwell; Brown, N´Guemo, Robson, McCourt; maloney, sammy, mcgeady.

our team is ways better than the * huns and if we would play powerfull pressing football right from the start they would * struggle and be impressed. u could see this in the last 15 min. but the prob is that tom is always reacting on the opposites tactics and has no own way to play football..

if the huns would be a far better team and we would be playing like that, ok, but they´re not * barca m8. IT´S ONLY THE * HUNS! no need for us to go out and see what they are doing. let´s play our own game! WE ARE CELTIC!

its up too tony to get best out off players. he knows 2 off them well caldwell and brown and they two our worst players this year so far. you need a system and to stick to it. he changing team too much expescially that central half. i love o'dea and loovens as our central halves come jan. cant understand why o'dea never got real chance under strachan or now mowbray.

A more honest heading for this would have been.
Mowbray hasn't got good enough centre back too chose from.
