Maloney & Keane were quiet for about 20 minutes but came strong for the rest of the game. Paul Telfer looked very average again against a poor side and Wilson who is out of position showed EXACTLY what a full back needs to be doing even out of position, he crossed on his bad foot very well. We need to find a left sided Mark Wilson and our full back problems could be solved.

I dunno where this critisism of Harston is coming from, he scored and set up 2. He does need to loose weight and move about more but he did well yesterday.

With Boruc complaining about his teammates, i dunno about the truth in it but he flapped at another cross and those mistakes will cost us in europe. He should look at his own mistakes before critisising others. His attitude and has seemed to slip, he doesnt look like the keeper in the first 7-9 games this season.

 

I would pretty much agree with Dempy on the players ratings, Wilson is going to be a regular now I think, he looks to be doing what is needed.
Dublin, although pish was still looking to get on the score sheet but just couldn't get through.
Petrov had a good game despite the couple of knocks he took one even ripping the back of his sock.

Apparently the players knew about Boruc's comments, they had been made on the fans forum site as a bit of fun, just the news papers getting hold of it and making an issue, hun * trying to couse trouble.

 

I would agree Dempsey but I think your a little harsh on Telfer. He was solid and made no mistakes. From a defender, that's what we need.

 

Dempsey you're too harsh on Artur and Telfer, should be 7 & 6 for them. McManus should be given 8 imo, I just can't complain about players much when we win 8-1

 

Boruc handling on a poor pitch was immense.

He deserves a 7 imho.

 

No i dont think so, we shouldn't have conceded that goal the way we did and the score shwed how much we dominated yet we conceded.

Balde and McManus got 7 because they really had little to do as our midfield broke them down alot of the time. Its not a critisism to get 7 they didnt make any mistakes, just didnt have a hard day at the office either.

I saw several unforced bad passes by Telfer and generally just poor. In comparison to wilson, 5.

Boruc was at fault for the goal he would have gotten a 7 only for it

 

Agree about Telfer. When is wgs gonna give up on this guy? He is the weak link in our defence.

 

Have you noticed that McManus had 2 assists? On 4-1 and 8-1. I would give him 8

 

boruc wasnt too bad even though he did let in an easy goal(which wasnt like him) at least after he mad a few good saves
he didnt have a big chance to redeam himself considering we were all over them

 

i thought Telfer was better than a 5, atleast a 6
