Never really got in behind the Rangers defence.

I know we can point fingers at defence but tbh I would rather see us buy someone to play up front with some real pace.

When any team we play against has a break away they attack with pace and cause us all sorts of problems. When we break there is nothing. Ball goes out to either of our wingers but there is nobody for them to find in the middle, as wee Burger boy is just not good enough.

 

Right. A former defender, and the weakest part of his team is the defense. Can't he use his own experience to direct the * what to do? I wish we got an old, experienced manager who can make the defense look decent.

 

We're just lacking an intimidating striker. Defense doesn't look too good in stretches as well, but the main problem is, that we're simply not converting possession into chances and goals.

Was the same on thursday against * vienna. We had all the ball in the 2nd and couldn't get anything.

Today again: All the possession in the 2nd, but almost no chances.

It was fairly easy for * rangers to defend our attacks tbh.

 

exactly mate, plus you'd think that he'd see our best centre half at the moment is o'dea but no he puts him away on loan. why does he constantly tamper with the most * fragile part of our team?

thought we were probably the better team today but offered * all upfront.
maloney should have buried the chance early on, should've had another 2 penalties, weir and novo should have been off the park.
despite all this * we still should have * won!

 

maloney has missed 4 great chances in 2 games and if he finished them we would have got 6 points from both.think of moggas reign thus far this way look at the players he has signed..zheng zhi top drawer today ..nguemo 2 great displays in a row and is a good signing if we keep signing this calibre of player then we will win this league and have a great time with mowbray at the helm..we where unlucky today we dominated the 2nd half at ibrox who can say they done that?remember under starachan we didnt have the best start (4-4 motherwell and 5-0 artmedia) and with him we had a very succesful period

 

WHERE WAS THE MOTIVATION?

Can't believe the lack of motovation today from Mowbray and Grant - they just looked liked scared rabbits caught in the headlights.

Never thought I'd see a worse Rangers team than last season but there are - and we still can't beat them - an absolute disgrace.

Totally shambolic defence and as for the strikers - a * joke!! Samaras and Macdonald should never play again for Celtic - way below the standard.

Unless Mowbray gets serious help from the Board, we're in deep *. A clear-out is needed urgently, most of that team today don't deserve another chance.

 

Even if O'Dea isn't a world beater, Mowbray should have known that Naylor isn't really a good replacement for Fox, and that O'Dea can do a decent shift at LB, if necessary.

 

Getting 1 penalty at Mordor is pretty rare. More chance nailing Jelly tae a balloon than 3 penalties. The truth is that was the only way we were going to score 3 goals.

 

anyone else think McCourt coming on practically killed us of as he kept the ball too long and lost possesion several times putting pressure on us and giving the huns an outlet for a counter attack??

 

I know what your saying but we needed a bit of magic and it wasn't coming from anyone else, so I can't blame TM for giving him a chance.

No,not blaming anyone,just think it looked more apparent today that he has a lot to work at before hes a 1st team regular

 

aye everybody's beloved paddy did nothing today.
everyone was ranting and raving about him being a player but nobody remembered we were only playing falkirk (pub team) and st mirren.

 

No star quality at all. Its the key players we're missing, those kinda players that get others playing well & involved. Too many under achievers at celtic i'm afraid.

 

yea blame paddy its all paddies fault easy target it wasnt mcdonalds finishing or mcgeady taking on two many men or browns lack lusture performance or the poor defending lets lump the blame on paddy yous are all good yous lot if ever we should have beat rangers it should have been today the team as a whole needs to take a look at themselvs simply not good enough what use is dominating a game if u make nothing of it !!
