Keep it simple against the Huns, use our normal 4-4-2 and let them do all the worrying. We need a bit more bite from our forwards than we have been getting recently, but I think the return of Barry Robson could just swing it for the Bhoys. :bbpd:

I'm confident for Sunday's derby. I think we ca get a good result here.

I'd go along with this squad:

    Boruc

    Hinkel --- Caldwell --- Loovens --- Fox

    McCourt --- Robson --- N'Guemo --- Maloney

    Skippy --- Samaras

Pretty obvious choice. Don't know how's Hinkel's injury going, but I put him in the squad anyway. This is McCourt's golden opportunity - McGeady is tired and still slightly injured and he's getting a chance here. Plus, if he proves himself against Rangers, he'll be seriously considered as our first team starter in future.

EDIT: Mmmikey, didn't know you put exact same team.:50:

Yes.i wont predict a score, never do predict an OF always got it wrong when i did.anyway im confident cause theyve not scored in 3 spl games and the pace of our players IF they play the way we know they all can should be too much for the huns defence especially if mcgeady is on his game.my team for it would be:

    Boruc

    Hinkel
    Loovens
    McManus
    Fox

    McGeady
    Brown
    Robson
    McCourt

    McDonald
    Samaras

    Subs:
    Zaluska
    Caldwell
    Thompson
    Crosas
    Maloney
    Killen
    McGinn

id love us to play this

    boruc

caddis(if hinkel isnt fit) loovens mcmanus fox

    brown nguemo robson

    mcgeady skippy maloney

im not the best tactician around and i do understand mcdonald cant play up top himself but with mcgeady and maloney pushed up further with him he will have more supply.(?) i dont think we can win if its brown and nguemo versing rangers 5 man midfield as we all know mcgeady and maloney dont track back much

Alot of folk seem pessimistic and pointing out all the bad points at celtic at the moment i agree but i here what mowbarys saying it will take time before he has a team of players he actually trusts the caldwells mcmanuses samaras mcdonald are all for the chop in the next year or so i think as they are to prone to mistakes and have the habit of letting the team down .
rangers on the other hand have a 38 year old skipper who lets face it is well past his best in defence giving a hard time during the game he will tire badly and kenny miller who couldnt score in a brothel the *!! all i see him doing is running about like a headless chicken chasing lost causes their usual threat will come from davis and mendes and mendes has been * so far this season if i look at our team compared to theres there is only one area of the park that they may be slightly stronger and thats centre of defence . i personally think we will pass them off the park on sunday but its weather we make the chances count or not , last time at ibrox we dominated from start to finish without actually making anything count or creating any chances and lost to a goal that basicly could have been dealt with better . against rangers as good as i believe moloney to be id have a bigger presence in there like robson someone with a bit of muscle as i think these orange basterds are going to be rough in the tackle we will have mcgeady on to create oppertunities and hinkel and fox getting up in support so therfor we need robson brown and nguemo to put in a shift i have my critics of big sammy for being lazy and at times selfish and how sometimes he doesnt look interested but i think the big man will thrive on a game like this and if anythign he will give it his alll...and for me even if chris killen does give his all its still not good enough in my eyes i realy dont believe hes good enough to be wearing a celtic jersey mcdonal and sammy up front please dont embarrass us tm by playing killen the fans have been threw enough !! only my opinion hee hee
2-1 away win samaras and mcgeady
cmon the hoops get into these * and bring the title back were it belongs !!!!

completely confident, lets put 7 points between us and them and put them into 3rd regardless of the Hibs v DUFC game. but still im worried that what happened to us last season is gonna happen again to us this season and what happened to the huns the season before. for the game im confident, that said for the league we will need to buy up come january and cant expect that if we did beat the huns that we can win the league from there. a draw away to them is acceptable. a loss, despite the 4 point buffer, could be disaster and hope we can hold out until january so we can buy up players

The team that most need it usually get the result in these games. I fear a 0-1

Spoke to a couple of fellow Rapid supporters, some of them just came back from Glasgow and praised the good atmosphere there and largely friendly Celtic community as well as people on the streets. All of us hope you beat Rangers!!! Could not find any Ranger supporter here…

I was speaking to someone at work this morning (he supports Rangers) and I said pretty much the same thing. I'm half expecting us to dominate possesion and then get caught out on the counter attack.
