A good performance. Only an individual abbheration by Andy Dober stopped us winning the match. :icon_mrgreen:

Problem is we always lose a manager who has built up experience in Europe over several years and get one in who has to start all over again. We do not have the pulling power for top managers any more but it would have been nice to have got Moyes and avoided that never ending cycle of managers who are rookies in Europe and have to repeat the same mistakes over and over.

Well, just for the record, I didn't * myself. Had I done so, it would have been for the way our defenders played, not the way Celtic played. You missed a couple of chances, so did we. You had lots of possession but didn't really make much of it.

Seriously doubt it, mate. We missed the chances we had on the break. And I'm not sure our strikers would've converted the chances yours' had.

You just proved my point you * idiot. "well maybe not mcgeady" which if I'm not mistaken was the point I made originally. Now how about Scott brown, what good things did he do? (just for the record I don't want to know what you thought if n'guemo, try to answer answer the question I'm asking this time). I might be blind but at least I can read

I completely understand what you are saying friend, but it really is early days, yes I fully believe we should have 6 points & I'm * off - but we have to be strong & try to see the positives.

Rome wasn't built in a day, you of all people understand that we need to show patience with the manager & the team. We have good performances in us as Moscow showed, knee * critisism is not helpful.

Mowbray knows what is wrong & I hope we'll give him time to solve the issues, if he can't do so in 2 seasons - then I'll be asking for him to remove himself, 2 months is * all.

    Keep the faith :50:

let's cut mowbray some slack here. it's too early in his reign at celtic to have a go. it's * obvious we need some quality injected into the squad. when you see that the likes of maloney is one of our best players then you know we've problems.

MON brought n great players but still got knocked out by an average bordeaux side.

GS inherited a great squad but stll managed to get off to a bad start.

TM has started the season off with by far the worst of selection of players of these 3 celtic managers.

woudnt say mogga clueless but tactics in tel aviv baffling.as for tonight thought we played well after poor start but mc geady never 100% fit and should have been subbed after 60 mins for mc ginn 1 change would have done.the 3 changes in the last 10 mins upset the whole shape also maloney and n guemo our 2 best players.atmosphere tonight crap altho great away support

In other words you can't answer my question so you'll pick faults with the way I asked it. Fair enough, I'm not doing this anymore you clearly haven't read what I initially wrote properly or your just drunk or stupid or something. Going for insults was poor but now you've avoided my question twice iv lost all interest in your point.

To be fair I think where we are right now is early in the dismantling of the successful but often critcised for style WGS side and the building of something in Mowbrays own image. The stage we are at now is a half way house that is in terms of results is a big backwards step. However, I worry partly because Mogga's own ideal has never really had success although it has had style. I also worry that to achieve his ideal he will have to really dismantley WGS's team which was more of a blend of some skill with lots of charachter, tactics and strength. Mogga's style needs perfect touch in the MF and attack and speed at the back to cover for the attacking style. That vision will need to get rid of all our CBs, Broony, Skippy, Sammy, Killen etc. It will need 2 new CBs, a new CM and 2 new strikers, all of top quality. That sounds like about 20-odd million pounds of players. The way we are funded means I think we wont have that sort of squad of fast touch players for a year or two.

he was succesful at west brom in winning the championship. west brom would've done fantastic to stay up in fairness.

as for dismantling a team, well the same was done with the greatest celtic team of my generation. i'm not blaming strachan for that as he had demands from the board which had to be met.

The stadium was not full tonight on one of our clubs greatests "loathing" of any other fair play teams in europe tonight...Why ?, because fans can see we are subsidising * poor players who still want more money and can't even string 6 passes together , they're paid thousands to run offside , miss one on ones wi the goalkeeper , and McManus again (wot a big * ) to put us one down .

We are * and the sooner you wake up and realise the better !!!

If we get out of the group then I was wrong and you are all great and Maloney is my hero ,poison dwarf who legged it and was given a second chance to fleece us for money

yip, that's what I thought aswell....good to read some sanity now and again......not that I'm saying everyone else's opinions are insane ....but?
In any case......for all the Tony Mowbray doubters.....wait till Sunday.....then we'll really see if he's got the 'makings'.
