did boruc not say he would love to play for legia in front of 60000 but he is very happy at celtic and he also said he would not play for polinia because they are legias rivals.He also said he turned down arsenal

I _love_ that kind of articles. You take sayings of somebody, cut all unnecessary context (especially if it was said as joke), mix them, and get what you want.

BTW, have you got in Scotland press of Axel Springer ? In Poland it's called The Fact and we often say it's The * press.

 

back pages are covered with this....seemingly caused a bit of a stir in Poland (maybe our Polish friends can add to this) i seem to remember this is not the first time boruc has been linked with negative comments directed at the club... not saying i think it's true but if it is then get rid

Boruc blast stuns Parkhead


Celtic goalkeeper Artur Boruc has reportedly launched a withering attack on Parkhead team-mates and fans.

The Poland international is alleged to have criticised Hoops striker John Hartson and also the standard of goalkeeper coaching at Celtic Park.

Boruc, who is due to play in the SPL game at Dunfermline on Sunday, was quoted in the Sunday Mail via an outburst picked up by Polish newspapers from a question and answer session with fans of his former club, Legia Warsaw.

Boruc reportedly told the fans: "Hartson is the laziest player I've seen. When you look at him, you can easily see he needs some exercise."

He allegedly added in the Q&A session: "There's no comparison between Legia and Celtic supporters.

"I would give a lot to see 50,000 Legia fans in Celtic's stadium. During the game, I feel like I'm in the theatre or cinema.

"People come to the stadium and pick their nose, although it's a bit better during Old Firm games."

Boruc, who will be 26 on Monday, is also quoted as saying the goalkeeping training under coach Jim Blyth is not to the level he expects.

He reportedly said: "The level of goalkeeper coaching at Celtic is much lower than with Legia. I have to obey their orders and as a result, I'm getting fat. It's very poor but what can I do?"

The 6ft 4in shot-stopper also claimed he would not be in Glasgow if Arsenal had followed up an initial interest.

"I talked with (Arsene) Wenger and he wanted me to join his club at the end of the season," said Boruc.

"I didn't want to wait that long and if I had agreed, I would have probably been axed at Celtic. I couldn't take such a huge risk before the World Cup."

There could be trouble at mill with this if it's true. (Surely the press wouldn't make this up, would they?).

it was written in polish press that Boruc said bad words about Hartson but it was also written that he was just joking!

everybody knows that Artur is truly glad and happy that he is a bhoy!

 

i was on that meeting with Legia fans and of course newspapers coloured this story a lot

yes - he said that Hartson is lazy- but isn't that true ?
yes - he said that goalkeeping training was much better in Poland - and i think that's true again- Legia goalkeeper coach is the best specialist in Poland and generally Polish goalkeepeing school is very good - see now Dudek in Liverpool, Kuszczak in WBA, Bialkowski in Southampton, Kowalewski in Spartak Moscow, Boruc in Celtic plus bunch of great talents in Polish league.
yes - he said that he would like to see 50000 Legia supporters on the Celtic stadium - Boruc is Legia fan since he was a child-he is beloved by our supporters and he love Legia plus Legia fans are making really great shows on the tribunes - so don't be suprised but he didn't say this crap about feeling on Parkhead like in theatre or cinema - this was journalists imagination

as about Arsenal - he just said that Wenger was intereted in signing him and that's it

 

thanks for clearing that up would hate it if he was frozen out because of this.Hartson can be lazy but he is good for knocking the crap out defenders with his build

I'm sure Arthur will try to clear it up. But I believe it is journalists trying to mix things.

If I was playing Barcelona, and came home to speak with Celtic fans, I would say that I wish it was Celtic fans in the stadium than Barca's. Any fan of any club would.

He's right about Hartson though lol.

Although Poland have some of the best goalkeeping coaches as mentioned. Celtic's aren't up to much compared to these guys. I think he's just being realistic with the Legia fans although a lot has been taken out of context.

 

He said only that Legia's fans are more impulsive and he would like to see 60000 of them at CP.

I think he's right at this. In Legia there are always very good GK's. I can't say the same about Celtic.

And about BBJ ... He was only joking. He loves to joke and this time he was gentle

He said that he'll never play for Huns and few others thing that confirm that he is very happy playing for Bhoys.
