Sorry to hear your garage got done mate....thieving *! A few months back on a Saturday afternoon I heard a clattering coming from my garage which is around the side of the house out of eyeshot. I let the dog out (a rott) and followed it around the side just in time to see it grab the leg of a big junky * who had his head and body halfway through the garage window on his way in. A few growls from the dog and a few swift skelps from me and the * was squealing like a pig....His said he was being chased by a gang and was "Jist tryin tae get oot the road...Gonnae no jail us mate?". I told him if i caught him anywhere near the garage or the house again he would be praying for the polis. * arseholes these people.

    Get a gun (officially)

Then when you catch a thief, firstly shoot them on the knee cap, then fire one through the ceiling

Tell the police you fired the shot at the ceiling first as a warning, the scumbag then lunged at you, and as an of self defence you shot him in the knee.

This has worked in the past. A family friend, who was an ex-police officer once told my grandad to follow this a few years back when the estate they lived on was riddled with crime.
