Mind you I remember someone on CQN posted a statistic that showed we were far less successful in games where Aidan played last season, I mean hugely less successful!

I said it last season and i'll say it again, Strachan was the tyoe of guy that stifled a lot of players and i knew for a fact that if we got a new manager in Aiden McGeady would be back to his best. He's not back to his best just yet but a moment like the one he produced at Pittodrie a couple of years ago is on the horizon.

I'm getting sick of being right lol

One of the best players we have imho and I hope he remains a Hoops player all his career. The guy is an inspiration to younger players and has went from midfield maestro to adding goals to his tally too. Let's hope his scan goes ok today and he's fit for at least the next European game. http://www.eveningtimes.co.uk/sport/display.var.2530868.0.0.php Hail Hail!!

Obviously he could add more end product to his game but hes still got time.

I feel hes developing well and has improved every season apart from last. Hes easily our most skillful player and our biggst threat.

Look how much the huns hyped up fleck and now there realising how difficult it is for young talent to add consistency to their game.

I just hope he continues to develop and is still here for another few seasons.

Definitely the best player in the team,
    and the most creative....

Playing on the right is defo his position.

The talk that he is selfish is belied by the fact that Hinkle is getting more assists than he ever has had in his career, he is getting up in support and taking passes from McGeady.

He's also been passing to Fortune, Samaras and McDonald in good positions the last couple of games.

He did have a tendancy to run down blind alleys and dead ends with his head down , more so when playing on the left, but he is cutting that out now and getting his head up for the pass more

would be a great player if he could lift his head and look to see what is on has still to learn that sometimes a pass can do as much damage instead of trying to beat 3or4 players

Never been a massive fan of his, but its clear to see we lack any creativity without him playing
At the game today it was so apparant that without him we are a very, very poor team

I like him and think he's a good player but at the same time hes our most over rated player. And he's at about the same leave as he was 3 years ago which is telling me that he's not going to get any better.

One of his best ever performances as a team player today. He needs to do this far more often though and against the better teams.

Totally agree. He has benefited from Naka (who was too slow to play on the left) moving on and the right wing berth coming free. Playing on the left seems to encourage him to overdo it and lose the ball. Shame for McGinn and McCourt though as right is their best positon too.

    Our only creative player.

When Aiden plays well, Celtic play well.

The crowd visibly rises when he isolates a full back

Exactly buddy, the wee man is left carrying the team by himself most of the time. Some folk fail to understand this.

I'll never understand people that slate the guy.

Yeah he'll lose it sometimes, but give me an out and out winger like Aiden, that will take players on, over a plodder like Davis at the huns any day.

Pace, awareness, comfortable on either foot, ridiculous skill and the heart of a lion.

Top european teams dont double up on him for nothing.

    HAIL HAIL Aiden

I hope we don't lose Aiden in the January window as he is the entertainer and dynamo in our team.

He must be worth about 8M big ones now.
