I live in Coventry and I haven't heard a bad word said about getting Celtic for Richerd Shaws Testimonial.

In fact the City Seems to be exstactic with a 32,000 sell out expected. Parties are being planned across the City and we are prepared to welcome the best fans in the world with open arms.

I will be wearing my celtic shirt in the Cov end and I'm sure I'll get no problem.

I think Celtic should tell the Geordies to stick it up there *.

As for the testimonial, it is starting to feel like every club is turning to celtic to provide the opposition, taking advantage of our great support. Its just a meaningless game for us, a dont see what we'll get out of it.

Shearer should have hand picked the players to play against them, make it more of a rare experience. Maybe see him lined up against some of the Euro 96 team. But instead we'll probably play Telfer, Lawson, McGlinchey etc etc. Why would he want that....who knows

Pearsonally I like Newcastle due to the football they play, although under Souness this beautiful football was non-existant. Also I've meet a few Geordies and they were sound so I have no problems with them.

 

At least all the money is going to charity Murph,it's the only good thing about this game.
