He is a step up from what we had for sure....but then again naylor looked good in his first year.
It didnt help celtic that we had no one to replace naylor and put some pressure on him to play a bit better to keep his place in the team.
So far fox is getting pass marks lets hope his grades just get better and better.

I absolutely love Fox atm. With him and Hinkel on the flanks i feel far more confident and he is one of my favourite players just now. So composed on the ball and a very good crosser of the ball. His FK's could also come in very handy.
But does anyone else think for those who thought Fox wasnt defensively sound that he had a very good game defensively on Thursday night?I thought he was very good at the back and made 2 great goal saving challenges.

He's been one of the most consistent performers since he came to Celtic. I predict a great season for him and he may be one of our best players if he continues like this. If only 10 other lads can perform like him...

Fox has started like a gun, but Naylor had a good start also.

One of the issues I have with WGS was his failure to bring another left back, which saw Naylor's standards drop, as there was no natural competition. Wilson, O'Dea, Caddis and even Hartley were all makeshift & none of which are naturally left sided.

Having joined Celtic, Fox would be keen as mustard to show his quality - which he has. The acid test will be to see if he can keep his levels high all throughout the season, and further down the track.

I believe he has the ability and quality & really want to see him do it.

The SPL will slowly drain him of any any potential he may have.
