Dont think Celtic board will free up 7mill for him, and even if it was for brown or mcgeady dont think we would offer a wage he would take. It just seems to unlikely he would if it came to probly swap to a lesser premier side

I think stenhousmuir players get more than that, i mean I get more than that at asda, no wonder he doesn't want to come.

These Keane rumours have been circulating for years, I personally would love to see him at CP but I can never see it happening

who do you reckon is the striker Keane would play best with in the current celtic squad? id say Fortune, he'd score a barrow load with him holding it up and mcgeady coming into play to set up chances it sounds mouthwartering but i really cant see it happening. you never know though

do you really think that celtic will shell out the money for keane that spurs paid liverpool? eeerrrr na! wont happen. i dont think swapping brown will be an option either tbh! can we afford his wages? does he want to move from the epl to the spl? is all this * to the highest extreame???

Well i posted because the story was on a website i was viewing.

To me it doesn't seem as unrealistic compared to everyone else that has posted.

Yes it is unlikely. But the main reason as to why it is unlikely is Mr Desmond's padlocked wallet.

i know robbie keane knows dermot desmond and his family , and desmond has been at the races with roy keane. if desmond wants to put his hand in his pocket for once than good. there is definitely substance for it. its all over the newspapers...normally this rumour comes up without a source.

cant see this happening myself, simply cant afford him,
prob get slated 4 this but i think robbies best days are behind him,i'm some 1 who watches him a lot for ROI and his pace has gone.would get 20+ goals in the spl but even his work rate is'nt what it use 2 be!

He is probably (in my eyes) equal to Mcdonald. Theyre both about the same size and play the same way, only diffrence is that Mcdonald would score double than what keane would in the SPL. 7 million and probably selling one of our best players is a big gamble on a player of doesn't score that many goals.

One more thing, when he moved to Liverpool he said he joined his favourite club and that it's a dream come true to play at Anfield. So much about him being a Tim, so I don't buy that "Celtic fan" *.

How come McDonald struggled in the Championship when he was there? Keane excelled at 17/18

How come McDonald hasnt an international goal to his name? Keane has 40

Robbie Keane is a better player, get your head examined if you think otherwise tbh
