    Hallo! Welcome to the forum.

Could you tell us if there is anything fans travelling to Israel need to be aware of?

Places to avoid, things not to do, stuff that might unintentionally upset the local folks?

The Israeli ppl are generally nice and welcoming tourists <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice" /><o:p></o:p>
Most of Hapoel fans are as u know left wing so u wouldn't upset too many of them with political chants
As to the Palestinian flag I don’t know how the hapoel fans will react to but I do not recommend waiving the flag in the streets of tel aviv because u may attract some hostile thugs and knifes are cheep here, I'm shore u guys are not afraid of fights but you mates r coming to have fun not to fight so I live it to u to decide
U can travel any where u want it's safe , be ewer that the central bus station in tel aviv is packed with junkies and hookers at night so if u do want to get there make shore u walk with a group of your mates
That said u will find the locals nice and welcoming they will buy u beers and chant with u guys there are a lot of clubs bars and restaurant 24/7 I recommend mikes place at the beach walking board
As for things not to do that can upset the locals – any thing that will upset locals in your own country <o:p></o:p>
here is a clip of hapoel fans for u mates

We play very tactical football the nickname for Eli gutman our manager is "the German" because he is strict
We usually play in 4 4 2 formation with 2 fast strikers and attacking from the flanks with our technical defenders
We play patiently passing the ball a lot from player to player looking for the killer pass
We don’t play too much the long ball
We r not physical as most Israeli teams are not physical we relay on our technical abilities
I believe that against Celtic we will play 4 5 1 formation because celtic is the stronger side
My advice for your side is to take this game seriously and not to underrate hapoel if u do u could be punished badly (like <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:smarttags" /><st1:City w:st="on">Chelsea</st1:City>, <st1:City w:st="on">Parma</st1:City>, locomotive, <st1:City w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Milan</st1:place></st1:City>, rangers, psg and so on)
If u will take this game seriously u will work hard for the 3 points but most chances u will get them <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice" /><o:p></o:p>

    Excellent - thanks.

I've found in some other countries that some very specific things are taken as insults, so always best to check... :50:

I said on here last week that I felt Hapoel would be a test for us, because we have struggled in the past against teams who play disciplined counter-attacking football, and have pace up front and in wide positions.

I think we'll be taking it very seriously.

Well no world class stars but our dangerous players are:
Gk- Vincent enyema Nigeria nt gk he is world class and should be living us soon to join 1 of Europe's big clubs (arsenal was interested in him in the summer ) beside being a panter gk he also make assists with his sharp long balls and score goals (our penalty taker)<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice" /><o:p></o:p>
Lb-dedi ben Dayan Israeli NT better on offense then defense very technical and score goals with headers
Lmf-gilli vermouth Israeli NT very very technical benayoun style he's dribble is world class but he can disappear in games
Cmf- bivras natcho Israeli u-21 t suppose to be some kind of a future talent
Rmf – Michael zandberg former Israeli NT technical and has a good shoot
Striker – itay shechter Israeli u -21 t very fast and technical he too can disappear in games
Striker – Samuel yeboah <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:smarttags" /><st1:country-region w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Ghana</st1:place></st1:country-region> NT big talent fast and scores a lot he may play hard to prove he belongs to big European tams
We also have a new sighning from the bundesliga from kolun or something he is Serbian and I never sew him play but he is suppose to be as u can already guess very technical
