    Well this guy could very be up there with the signing of larsson, petrov and moravcik, if we have agreed to sign him in january then i couldnt care if no one else had come this window. This young man has the pottential to be as good as gerrard in my opinion, he takes free kicks, corners. good control of the ball, great vision and long passes and has a powerful shot to rival sheerer. I have however read in the korean times that there is no deal in place but negotiations will resume in january and by then im sure there will be some other clubs in for him, can anyone supply a link where it says he has signed?

    no in korea he is reffered to as yueng but simply because of translation it comes out often as yong :rolleyes:

    I'd say he's a different type of player than Gerrard. This he's more an Xabi Alonso type player than Steve Gee. Hope this transfer doesnt leave us disapointed in terms of getting our hopes up that he has signed. If he has signed will be interest if he can adapt to the Scottish league . I find it quite wierd that, a technically gifted player can struggling in the Spl when he would do much better in the Spainish league for instance because they get longer on the ball.

    i think its good to have him come in january. gives him a bit of time to learn the language, learn more about the club the history, bulk up etc, might be better than throwing him in at the deepend

    he is an australian citizen, he speaks english fluently, but im not sure if we have actually agreed to sign him which is worrying

    yeah i watched all the videos and he looks absolutely immense, 17 appearances for the national team and he's only 20, he can score a right good goal aswell

    We have signed him im sure as if we hadn't Celtic would have denied it and he wouldn't be quoted in the newspapers saying he's looking forward to joining Celtic and eventually wants to join one of the top League's in Europe.

    I wouldn't worry :icon_mrgreen: he looks some player right enough in those videos like Mick said he's like Xabi Alonso or Pirlo in his younger days with those long ballls from deep in his own half.

    he goes forward more often than not aswell,i dont see him being a defensive midfielder, he is called kirrard because he plays the same style

    Think its going to be an excellent coup. Just hope its a done deal because if we dont get him in Jan no doubt in the world cup big teams will be wanting him.

    Same. If we get 2/3 seasons out of him and a top 4 premier league club want him then they should offer megabucks . Especially the Asian market appeal aswell.

    id be happy with a couple of good seasons, what else would you expect, id rather we had a great player for a few seasons who moved on than a good one who staye dhere for longer
