He is a Hun, but that's beside the point. He called it as he saw it....He gave his opinion on the incident that's what he's paid to do.

Whether Aiden dived deliberately or went to ground to avoid getting clattered only he knows.....But in my opinion if Aiden thought he was being dismissed unfairly he wouldn't have gone off the park as quietly as he did....He looked like he accepted the refs decision. Just my opinion.

Yes , I think I agree with this.
Mcgeady decision is really is he guilty or not guilty.
My thoughts on watching incident are that McGeady is not `blatantly` going down but is certantly impeded to some extent, and does not deserve a red card.Nevertheless we won the game I feel other teams ( hopefully Huns ) will struggle against this John Hughes attack minded team.
Very pleased we have got maximum points against this team

Technically he wasn't sent off for it. He got a yellow card for it. But it was his second yellow of the match hence the red.

Thats not going to happen. Wether rightly o wrongly but Mogga refused to even look at the TV in his after match interview and said it happened in front of him and he beilves his player is not a cheat, i agree with Mogga here though, Aiden shouldnt be punished i think this time he should maybe be given the benefit of the doubt and suspended. However if a player is found guilty for a 2nd time i think then they should have a greater sanction such as a fine.

aye he didnt make too much fuss :97: i was * off cos hibees were all over us for a spell when he went off and i thought we had * it.

perhaps Aiden did drop to avoid being kicked but youve got to think what the ref will make of it. he`s not able to stop the game and watch replays like we can.

A say tho, it's no good saying, he was stopping himself from getting wiped out. Take the punishment and move on. There are so many angles to look at these incidents. But it's defo fair to say that this is nowhere near Eduardos and he has recieved his punishment- unlike Eduardo yet.

Talking about Eduardo's. I heard this idea on the radio to eliminate penalty box diving.

If the attacker goes down and claims it is a penalty then the referee speaks through his headset ( or what have you ) to further officials who then judge the incident.

If it is a foul they take the penalty

If it isn't a foul they play on

If it is a dive, the defending team take a penalty at the oppisote end and the diver gets a ban.

    Gd idea imo.

TBH, Mcgeady was sprinting, he was running very fast and the slightest contact could of made him go over and on the other hand he may have lost balance, the fact is, if he did lose balance and fell, should he of got a yellow for that, did he get up and complain that it wasnt a foul?

Dont think he did he shouldnt of gotten that yellow

In my opinion it was a dive, the pictures clearly show he wasn't touched and went over. Fully deserved the booking he got, just a shame he was already carrying one and it resulted in a red. His reaction didn't point to him being sent off unfairly either I didn't think.

Diving is a cancer on football and should be severely punished I believe, with a fine of two weeks wages (the maximum the club can impose) to make sure it doesn't happen again. Killen's is different because he was jumping over a challenge, got straight back up and claimed nothing.

Mowbray ddin't want to look at it I don't think because he didn't want to have to admit that it was a dive.

Any of us wanting the book thrown at Eduardo but trying to defend this is a hypocrite and is being blinded by loyalty. We cannot have it both ways.
