    Celtic have accepted a £4.8million bid for Scott McDonald from Bolton. They are looking at signing Marco Ruben or Eidur Gudjohnson on loan as a replacement. Celtic ahve also made an enquiry about the availibility of Sunderland goalkeeper Craig Gordon. Watch out for any development on this deal.

    This 'Skippy to Wigan loan deal' story has to be the biggest amount of pish ever written. Celtic would gain nothing from the deal and the idea that it would raise his profile and value for us selling him is utter * too. Personally i don't think macdonald would cut it down south and if Mowbray doesn't rate him enough to keep him here then he won't either. I do think though that Mowbray might be thinking Macdonald doesn't totally suit his system and might want to cash in now while Skippys still got 4 years on his contract and might command a decent fee. But the loan deal makes no sense.

    actually if we loan skippy to wigan and he scores say 20 goals the his value will shoot up and we could sell him on for 15 million plus etc, so it is a very viable route
