    was atletico madrid behind closed doors, the game at cp was the tommy burns show, i can remember burns was assulted by one of their players am sure after scoring so am sure it would give him emense pleasure for us to destroy them, imo that whole situation and game lead to the wilderness years in europe for us and its long overdue to exorsise the ghost please tm make it happen.

    The Rapid Vienna thing was a disgrace back in 1984 they cheated simple as! All round though I think we got a decent draw and it just shows it pays to get into the top 2 pots for the draw.

    The 84 CWC final was the first time I supported an English team ever. It should have been us against Everton. We'd 've got pumped probably, but I've liked Everton since then. They stopped thae cheatin * cheating their way to a European Trophy.

    Much as I hate them, I wouldnt recommend that. They'd all wear turbans and say it was a bottle and get us kicked out of Europe.
