You have missed the point. The Palestine flag has nothing to do with us. Why would we want to be waving one around.

as it shows a joint support between two similar causes:
Ireland being oppressed and Palestinian land being lost to and impossing Israeli government

No I think he's right about the basic point. A number of folk have been saying that it would * off the Hapoel fans, but in fact the opposite is true.

The connection with Celtic is similar to the connection with St Pauli - they are overtly anti-fascist and anti-racist. This is an obvious and natural connection with a club from an ethnic minority background like Celtic.

There are other things is life apart from football, and there are other things in football apart from.. erm... football. :icon_mrgreen:

This is a sad state of affairs even the HUNS Threads on there forum regarding the draw didn't turn political, we are definitely showing our selves up here, its a * football game, means nothing else to me, if i wanted to speak about the politics of the games i would create a thread for it not HIJACK this one.

not having ago at anyone in particular BUT.... we should get back to Topic:50:

interesting group all the same,Hamburg with our connections with St Pauli and a bit of previous with rapid and an Israeli team should make it enjoyable and give it a bit of an edge.:50:Hail Hail

We have * all to do with there troubles and shouldnt tarnish the name or reputation of our club with childish pathetic behaviour>>>> get a * grip:38:

Anyway back to topic i am happy with the draw could have been a lot worse hamburg are a cracking team with players like trochowski, petropia, ze roberto, jarolim, petric, and the up and coming star markus berg>>> we will do well to get a draw in germany but there beatable at home!!!

As for rapid i havent seen them at all and i dont know any of there players so dont really know how good they are!!!

Hapoel av seen very little of as well so a trip to israel will probly be dangerous!!!

All in all it could have been a lot tougher!! but imo we will qualify
