will he get a look in now that donati is away?

I think mowbray was sending out a message to Peter Lawwell last night by replacing mcgeady and maloney with naylor and flood that we need some quality back up......europea quality although flood did impress me last night.:50:

I think now that Massimo is away, he will definitely have chance to make an impact and prove himself. Unless some signing comes along. I think Flood is likely to get more chances too.

I think he was always going to get more opportunties as the season progressed. I still think Mowbray has a creative attacking centre mid in his sights.

I think he will get his chance, Hes a great young talent and should flourish under the right guidance, I have always thought he should have got his chance before now can pick a pass anywhere

Totally agree, we need at least 3 good players. a commanding centre back, creative midfielder, and goal scorer.

Yeah, but it's a dodgy thing we've only got Crosas as a more creative player. * forbid he gets knackered...:38:

being honest between crosas and mizuno a really thought these two would ave stepped up in the pre season friendlys when given chances instead the two of them were poor in the few games they got. For me crosas needs to show more before i d put him in the first team. I do think we need another centre mid in or push someone on. We have brown n guemo crosas and robson when hes fit for me nguemo is a sure starter as he is the best holding type player but the other place is up for grabs brown obvious favourite but has been pretty poor this season so far.

Well, if he gets his chance, he must do a better job of taking it than he has so far. Obviously has a bit of talent, but hasn't done it for me up to now.

mowbray doesnt seem too keen, i think he prefers flood, but he should start a few games to give other players a rest when needed and he can do first touch pasing easily

I think he replaced Maloney and Mcgeady with Naylor and Flood because he wanted to put players on who were unlikely to feature from the Start against Hibs while resting our 2 hardest workers.

As for Crosas yes he should get more chances. He is still a little way off holding a first team place but he looks good. It was good to see our reserves beat Newcastle Reserves also with McManus, Robson and Wilson all returning and playing in the game.

hopefully hes given a decent crack at a starting berth i think this is his last season im sure it was a 2 yr deal if somebody can give additional info please do but he played a good few games for lyon while there and also showed shades of what he can do for us but i dont think hes had a proper spell in the team to see what tthe kid is made of! he needs a chance but i wonder if mogga is willing to give him a chance with maz away now its a case of watch this space

Is Crossas his sort of player ,i dont know ,i want to see someone who has composure on the ball and can spread that ball about ,a dictator of the game ,with a killer pass etc ,its great watching this free flowing football but a common sense player is needed in there ,not all gun ho but a leader .

I'd like to see Crosas doing well - even if for selfish reasons , i.e. he'd be getting mentioned on the telly here. I thought he was going to have more of an impact tbh. I think we'll see more and better soon from him. the boy's got potential.

Didn't Mowbray say something in his first press conference about how after three or so years in charge of West Brom there were only one or two players left from when originally took over?

I can't see Crosas having a future a Celtic to be honest. He's a passenger in most games and it would be fair to let him go; he just can't cut it.

It takes time though, Mowbray, Grant & Venus know this, and it won't be an overnight task to fix that team.

He's shown glimpses of class - telling passes, outrageous goals, good work-rate.

You just get the impression that he perhaps doesn't have the strength or presence to be part of a central 2.

Mowbray will be looking at Brown and N'Guemo as the immediate starting 2. That's a lot of energy and brawn to counter-act the relative light-weights on the wing. Crosas will be aiming to overtake Robson as third choice. Do we have a fifth option? Flood was played out wide against Arsenal...
